This story is absolutely amazing!! I never liked novels but I saw this and was like "sounds nice" so I gave it a try and now I'm waiting for chapter 68 :P
This is in the middle of the pack when it comes to wizard cultivation novels. Unlike its predecessors it has realistic individuals with enough kind people to balance out the arrogant ones. The MC isn't evil and cares a bit about friendship. However, there are a lot of things I dislike. First is the slow progression. It has taken 170 chapters just for the MC to unlock his magic. This amount of time is ridiculous and should've never happened. Second is the amount of time the MC is an apprentice and taking unnecessary risks. He should have been smarter based off his previous teacher Jon, but instead he has been selling alchemy weapons, participating in death matches for fun and allowing his enemies who want to kill him to power up at a faster rate than him (Which is BS as the MC should be over 10 times faster with his technique.) Thirdly is the way how the author tries to create mystery in this novel about the 'truth'. What truth are you even talking about?? You never really gave it a real explanation and used it as a plot stopper by making his own teacher refusing to teach the MC anything at all because this rank 2 wizard wants a 15yr old boy to find the 'truth' of the universe by himself in 1 year. And the last problem I have is how the MC hasn't shown any urgency to save Jon. Instead the author has held it off and only brought it up when ever its relevant in the arcs. Overall I dropped this fic around chapter 265 due to the pacing being horrendously slow. (Weird since I usually love slow pace stories.)
Wow, what an amazing presentation for chapter 1. The narration is so captivating, I'm sure readers will love this novel. Somehow the author made this novel so good as if we were made to be in that position. It's stunning.
Really written very well ^^ This is a good catch in this platform. I have nothing else to say except that the MC is developed real good. His background, his specialties, the challenges he faced didn't feel forced... the protagonist brother of his (despite being described as the typical edgy MC) is quiet interesting as well. If you like the Author's POV, the novel's extra, you will like this ^^
The book started out decently and just got worse and worse as it went along. The relationships and the comedy just feel forced. The mc waisted all his time during a six year time skip resulting in no progression. The mc also doesn’t use his points properly making it quite frustrating
As an author i don't do self reviews. I did not do it even for my other top 10 novel , but i am going to have to do one for this. This is my dream project , I can confidently say it will be the best story you ever read. Soo here is what you can expect from this book : 1) No cheats , but OP MC through natural talent 2) Side characters that matter 3) A solid world building 4) No fillers 5) No cliche romance or brainless female characters. 6) A IMMERSIVE STORY If you guys have the patience to read this review and were looking for a good webnovel to read , then this is what you were looking for!
There are a few chapters that you have to re read to grasp what is going on and sometimes it is difficult to understand who said what but this is definitely worth a read, I am loving this book.The protagonist himself is quite fascinating biologically, and more often than not seems to take the path of least resistance, and his system isn't over powered but is very relevant. And the world he resides in both scares the stuffing out of me and sets my heart aflutter whith all the monsters and ancient cultureal and mythological references. And also people(s) in this story? They are realistically barbaric and suck as people and monsters do, and I am pulled in by it all.
It took me a while to understand the storyline, but luckily I have a little background in games. It's also a new challenge for me who is a romance crazed to read this new genre.But good work so far! Keep on writing!
So far, so good... I enjoy “real life + game” story so I find this novel really interesting.. Can’t wait for the next chapters. Keep it up!

Short ReviewThe world as said in the synopsis is fantasy one where the main job is demon tamer. Our mc awakens an ability that let him see the status of demons even if they are not tamed yet (It was mentioned that other people can only see the status of their pet once they tamed them). And it seems important to select your pet especially the first one as this will identify their future potential, so he risk his life to get a pretty strong one. Not really OP, so it is a good read if you are into pets or eastern fantasy. Try it!
