I've read until chapter 48 so far, and I've got to say it's got its ups and downs and the only real problem I've found while reading this novel are the characters in general. The MC sometimes is smart and somewhat relatable but most of the times it feels like a lot of his decisions make no sense whatsoever. I'll keep reading because I feel it has potential and I'll write another review after I've read another 50 chapters or so.
I found this book 2 years ago and didn't read it because of the negative comments, thinking the story was illogical and stuff like that. I left it in one of my lists and I started reading less and less novels, until recently, I decided to find a new one. I went on this app and after looking around I found this, and after remembering it, I decided to give it a try, for real now. I don't regret it, there are some "illogical things" which become clearer later on, characters feel kinda real and development is there. [I'm chapter 145] After this much, I really like it and I kinda want there to be more chapters, cuz I'll eventually get to 300 chapters and upload speed is slow, but I don't mind it because the chapters are long enough.Hate comments aren't exactly accurate, and most of them read little part of the book, so don't trust them too much and instead give this book a try, you will like it by ch 60 of before.10/10 book[ Just to mention that LONER part of the title doesn't mean he will be alone, it's more like his mental state, he doesn't feel comfortable around others, but that doesn't mean he won't be around them. This gets more thought about later in the book.
Good novel about modern weapons in a cultivation world. What if you could have a conventional empire, in a cultivation world with no concept of technology? I like the story overall. It is very interesting and it certainly stands out in it's style. To each their own, the way that the story is described reminds me of some kind of strategy game. The levels and the way that people's power abilities are described throws me off. It's not really what I look for when reading a novel and makes it a bit less entertaining to me. But to each their own because a lot of people seem to love it and uniqueness always has its merits. I think the writing quality could use a few minor improvements along with the formatting. But a solid story overall. Wishing the author the best.
The story is pretty good. I would definitely recommend it to some people. However, I’ve seen a lot of grammar errors. Especially the part with the word “you’re”. Instead of using “you’re” it uses “your”. But, it isn’t to the point where you can’t even read it. 8/10, would recommend. :)
I've started to judge novels simply based on the original country setting. Xia, zhou, etc are all repeated settings without the slightest bit of anything a good novel needs and 99% the novels written by such authors are hot trash.I'm not going to read this, but I'm warning you. If I turn out to be wrong, my fault ig.
It's readable. not the best, but at least it's not boring.

Your cliffhangers and 4 chapters per book hurts me, im spitting blood here when getting into it. Please make more chapters im like spongebon saying "I NEED IT!"
personally the pacing to the story is a bit wrong as well as the mc and his powers and stuff just don't seem to mesh well with everything I believe that the story just doesn't flow together correctly but I do believe that should it go through a rewrite with a proofreader to help get the flow on track it will be wonderful
