"Silavin: Sadly, we’ve caught up to the raws at this point. No news from the author in years.
Even the LN only has one volume out, so I guess this novel ends here. "
from the translator
seems like this story is actually dead for years now sadly
The entire situation is just adorable
Parents who manipulate and hurt their kids to fulfill their desires are truly despicable. The fact that they could reject their own flesh and blood, making the MC feel like an outsider, is heart-wrenching and deserving of a special place in hell. They exhibit immense hatred.
On the bright side, the romance between MC and ML is quite charming. I particularly appreciate the character development throughout the story. Despite the MC's tsundere nature, they were able to accept and confront ML after discovering his foolish plan. It's impressive how someone with trust issues could stay and fight, showcasing their growing confidence in ML's love. Even though they express anger and dissatisfaction, it's a significant victory for those who've experienced neglect and abuse.
Moreover, it's entertaining to watch ML gradually learn how to handle his feisty wife, distinguishing between her proud and demure sides. Their growth together is beautifully portrayed.
A big thank you to translator Noa Edits for their contributions. Reading this novel led me to an unexpected discovery - how to use Google Docs for audio reading! It brought me immense joy!
The story doesn't offer anything groundbreaking or unique, but it's not necessarily a negative either. The protagonist, initially underestimated, discovers a hidden cheat ability and sets out to become the strongest. Along the way, he forms alliances with companions, each possessing impressive skills that contribute to his expanding harem. These characters can be classified into distinct traits, such as an energetic and a quiet, nurturing "little sister" type.
The main character embodies a typical harem protagonist, persistent and determined to save everyone he cares about. He possesses significant abilities, but he's not invincible – he relies on wit to outmaneuver foes. It's a mix of Japanese isekai (fantasy world穿越) and Korean dungeon themes. If you enjoy stories with similar elements, this might pique your interest, but don't expect too much – there may be unexpected twists, but the predictability can be seen as a positive aspect rather than a flaw.
The chapters are concise, making it easy to catch up quickly. So if you're looking for a shorter read, this could be a suitable choice.
Oh okay. Must be the author's problem. Again sorry if I was offensive in any way.
Is this good? Now that I lost everything I need to restock my arsenal
I have a week left! My finals are on Monday and graduation is the following Saturday ?
Go learn from Wang Wei
i read this in one sitting and im satisfied with this! although the ending was kinda not my taste. but if you guys love to read some chinese novels with a good plot, this is kinda good so yeah read it. lmao.
Is this for real? Is the mc kind, merciful of sorts? Who meddle in everything and saves everyone he see?
Remember the main plot but not fully or where I got to, somewhere around 950?, time to reread from the beginning, wish me luck
The book provides a delightful, feel-good reading experience. The main character (MC) handles toxic relationships by cutting ties decisively, which is refreshing. Although the MC's abilities may be overpowered, it fits the narrative. The development of the characters who initially ignored him is well-written, showing their growth as they realize their mistakes. The male lead (ML) initially demonstrates respect for boundaries and patiently waits for the MC to open up, creating a comfortable dynamic.
The storytelling structure is engaging, focusing on both the show's events and the characters' personal lives, giving readers a realistic TV show-within-a-story feel. However, the book falls short with excessive description in certain sections, making it difficult to read at times. The translation and the author's tendency to elaborate on physical details excessively contribute to this issue. Had the author tightened the prose, the novel could have easily been a five-star read. Despite this, the overall positive aspects make it a solid choice for a light-hearted contemporary story.
