The novel brings to mind the Korean drama "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim," but set in an Alpha Beta Omega (ABO) dynamic. In this story, Luo Ran, the omega, shoulders not just Admiral responsibilities but acts more like a doting wife by preparing Alpha Lucas's attire daily, shopping for his clothes and accessories. On the contrary, Lucas厌恶任何形式的肢体接触，且不倾向于建立任何关系（除了与Omega），保持单身。
Initially, I expected Lucas to discover his one-night stand's true identity early on, but the revelation was drawn out, nearly causing me to drop the book due to my frustration. However, the inclusion of flashbacks was a clever narrative device, effectively weaving the plot and providing context for character development and events.
One aspect I greatly appreciated was the departure from the stereotypical omega portrayal as weak and always needing protection. Luo Ran's strength and ability to hold his own in sparring sessions, even matching some Alphas, showcased his resilience. Additionally, I admired how Lucas never underestimated his mate, even using them strategically as pawns in their joint campaign against space pirates.
In conclusion, despite its pacing issues, this novel offers a refreshing take on the ABO genre and provides a decent read for leisurely entertainment.
I cannot praise this highly enough; it was an absolute 10 out of 10 in my opinion. The main character (ML) was domineering, but only towards the female lead (FL), who actually enjoyed his possessiveness - he was a delightful green flag. I adore how intense and charming, yet respectful, he is with her. He never pushes her beyond her limits, which makes their relationship unique. Now, Cecil has become one of my favorite MLs.
The FL was not annoying, and I appreciated her decisiveness. She knew what she wanted and pursued it without hesitation or self-doubt. She wasn't your typical overbearing female lead, but she was powerful in her own way.
The steamy scenes were exceptional, as evidenced by the glimpse we got from the first chapter. [SPOILER ALERT] The rest of the story started at chapter 45.
The storytelling was intriguing, but the chapters were quite brief, leaving me wanting more. Thank you for the fantastic translation; it was a pleasure to read! ?

Although the character introductions initially seem a bit convoluted, the author gradually unravels the confusion through their dialogues, piquing readers' interest in the intricate world-building. The main characters remain shrouded in intrigue, as their curiosity drives their interactions without delving too deeply into each other's secrets, respecting personal boundaries. I particularly appreciate stories that leave room for speculation, encouraging readers to actively engage with the plot as they piece together the mysteries.
