People are just making baseless assumptions on this novel based on the synopsis, I'll clear up some things and give my opinion.I accidently wrote a lot while writing this but please bear with the review I think I wrote down a lot of important things that are missing in a lot of other reviews."The game": The game's identity is extremely mysterious, he does eventually meet up with other players but it seems like most people dont actually understand it entirely themselves and its even stated that other players cant even be trusted (it can also be assumed that its extremely underground and we aren't even clear about the identities of the other human players), considering how desperate every player is to get stronger we can assume everyone gets stronger from the game, even up till chapter 40 he never actually had any instance of him getting strength from the game except for when he lifted groceries, 99% of his time is dedicated to playing the game and sleeping.MC's Store: He may be the only person with a store but he doesn't even start to use it until about chapter 35 because he thinks that its a waste to spend money in a random game, and when he does its because he realized he can convert in-game currency into store currency to buy certain items (pills, certain techniques, etc) but its not entirely overpowered because he actually has to farm an extensive amount to actually get the items he needs, but it doesn't sideline the story because hes actually able to progress the story while farming for the currency in the ways available to him."Is it just a faceslapping novel" Nah, you kinda get the vibe at the start just cause of his "talent" in cultivation but its just because hes a player and its clear that he isn't actually that talented it was just in comparison to brand new rando mortals, it steers away from the faceslapping a decent amount and focuses a lot more on the world-building, and even emphasizes constantly how weak the mc is, hes basically unable to defeat anyone above 2 minor realms above him and all of the people that actually conspire anything are 1 major realm so he has to constantly cultivate, while trying to understand the game world better, while trying to uncover deeper conspiracies that he normally shouldn't be interacting with, with his cultivation level, all at the same time trying to survive on a day to day.I think that this is one of the few trial reads that are of absolute top quality, comparable to "Top Tier Providence, Secretly Cultivate for a Thousand Years" and "Cultivation! My Augmented Statuses Have Unlimited Duration" (Which are both amazing cultivation novels if you haven't seen them before), its just that people have recently gotten a pre-conceived notion that all trial reads are just random trash (cuz to be fair most of them are) but rating this one randomly 1-3 star like I see a lot of people doing is the kinda thing thats actually sabotaging this website and making it so we continually get such lower quality editor's picks consistently. It would be a shame to let this novel be left so under-rated so I thought to leave my review to set everything completely straight.

I recently found out about this book and I started reading it because it seemed interesting, but now I am actually captivated by it! I can't wait to see how the characters develop! Oliver, the MC, is rather unlucky, but that's why I can relate to him pretty well. ?I mean... sometimes it just feels like everything is going as wrong as it can go...But then, William feels like the other side of life... sometimes things just go unexpectedly well...The 2 of them together, I would say, make the 2 faces of a coin. You flip that coin in life and sometimes you get lucky, while other times you don't. ?

Writing QualityStability of UpdatesStory DevelopmentCharacter DesignWorld BackgroundI wish I could rate more. Vampires Coffin brought me to Webnovel and I must confess, it's worth it...
You have a way with words that make each read worth admiring, you've manage to paint an appealing image for the reader as your words become descriptive the picture becomes clearer. A novel with great potential
Great novel! It reminds me Assassins C lassroom, however, darker. I like it. I wish MC was more wit. He seems a little bit lazy to solve mysteries. But in overall is's great novel :)
Its a great start to a novel, the pacing is good and the world is interesting. In some areas, it could use an editor though, there are some sentences that come off a little weird. But as of chapter 44 its been a fantastic read. Keep it up.
