just I usually don't mind grammar but when it's nearly every sentence I just can't .
this is definitely one of the best novels out there. ?
So far, this nobel has been really enjoyable the only complaint I have is the length of the chapters otherwise its a 5/5
Those who liked this novel are idiots. MC can jump 10 level to defeat a man by attacking balls but when it really matters, when all his friends junior senior died he didn't use that power to defeat people 1 or 3 level higher than him. He got experience by getting hit but when the sect fight started, the system totally stopped. No new experience for skills where he got thousand to millionss of exp before. And the funny thing, with all his cheats, unlimited pills he is very low level compared to people around same who have nothing but level is way up. Author never care about logic and his own rules. just wrote whatever trash he could think of.
It's simply cr*p. God, mercy me for too late dropping this novel out but i will do now. The story development so quick and it's good but leave too many loophole which is make the story become nonsense at all. Author should put steady flow of plot and build the background story up first before jumping right here and there to show how mighty the mc, and also author shut learn more about how human being could react in different situations so you can build a strong impression about life in the story
as a home cook myself this novel got me hooked even though ive just started reading this ik this novel is great and best of all it has all the type of genre i loved
This is the best representation of the medical genre with a system. It's kind of like Dr Ling Ran, but less 'I am too handsome' we also have interesting side characters. Just hope it doesn't become like LR and get monotonous. Hope it gets taken up
It’s well written for the most part, but it still falls into the ever common trap of most modern setting Chinese novels; it’s racist, sexist, homophobic and transphobic. The premise is interesting at the beginning, but it just gets boring after a while, following the same plot line with small tweaks of *gain new knowledge* —> *come across wacky situations than can somehow be solved with it* —> *solve problem, but not without spending 10 chapters talking about how everyone underestimates him* and rinse and repeat. I read up to nearly chapter 500, and the quality just decreases. Even if all those things still don’t put you off, you still don’t need to read this, I’m sure you can find some other face slapping system novel to read, god knows there’s so f***ing many out there, some of which should probably be at least a bit less racist.
It was my first English novel, so there would be a lot of flaws in it. If you think this novel readable then please continue, but if you think the English in the novel is too bad to interrupt your reading pleasure, then stop reading.English is not my mother tongue, but one of the ways to improve English is to keep writing and reading. Because it's hard for me to improve English if I have to stop writing this novel.The background of this novel is an alternate reality with references of players from the real world. I apologize if there any fan of a club or a player was offended by my writing.
I genuinely love the concept behind this, and the story in general. The reason for the 4-stars instead of 5, however, is the author's lack of proper punctuation. There are a great deal of run on sentences, and not nearly enough punctuation to even everything out. It's like the difference between saying "Let's go eat Grandma!" and "Let's go eat, Grandma!" As far as I'm concerned, the errors severely break the immersion, to the point where this story is more of a "sometimes" story, rather than an "all the time" story. Other than that, though, I love it :)

I have to talk about the dialogue in this book because it is PERFECTION. Let's start with Ye Junfei because his lines are absolutely iconic. The man says things like "Miss, do you mind if I drink a little of your blood?" and "Don't worry, Miss. After I'm done drinking, I'll kill you. No one will ever know." with the same casual politeness you'd use when ordering coffee. The contrast between his elegant speech and his utterly deranged content is comedy gold. And his line "You're being naughty" when she tries to kill him? I wheezed. The fact that he treats her axe swing like a child misbehaving is both terrifying and hilarious. But what really impressed me is how each character has a distinct voice. Lin Xiuyan's internal monologue is sharp and sarcastic — she's constantly making snarky observations about the people around her. When she's talking to Zhou Chenyang, she switches to this fake, coy tone that's completely different from her inner voice. The author makes it clear when we're hearing her real thoughts versus her performed words. Zhou Chenyang's dialogue is perfectly slimy. "You stayed out all night, and I worried about you the entire time. How can you still laugh!" — this man is gaslighting her in real time and he sounds genuinely concerned. The author captured that specific brand of manipulative charm that abusers use, and it made me want to throw the book across the room. The banter between Lin Xiuyan and Ye Junfei is also surprisingly good. Even though they're technically enemies, there's a rhythm to their exchanges that feels natural. She's always one step ahead, and he's always amused by it. Their dialogue has this push-and-pull quality that's incredibly satisfying to read. One thing I'd note — some of the dialogue leans slightly toward the dramatic side, especially Ye Junfei's threats. But it works because the tone of the story is already heightened and stylized.
