yup. author dropped this too. yup. author dropped this too. yup. author dropped this too. yup. author dropped this too. yup. author dropped this too. yup. author dropped this too.
listen I know you read the synopsis and thought 'hey this is pretty cool', but trust me this novel is a complete scam. its the usual Chinese novel where you have 99% filler chapters with 1% story progression. As a very experienced reader i can absolutely say this is utter trash and a waste of your time. most likely this wont get picked, and i hope to god it doesn't and allow other quality novels to get picked instead.
The protagonist is a trouble avoiding... well, not exactly. It’d be more accurate if I say cliché avoiding. He has a system that rewards him based on his actions. For example, he meets a girl crying by the river, what does he do? Does he pick something cliché like comforting her? No! He walks away. Example number 2, he encounters two seniors battling it out, what does he do? Does he stick around and wait so that he could maybe pick up some gains after the battle? No! He walks away. Everytime he does that, the system would reward him points.
Although the protagonist isn’t avoiding all these just for the sake of avoiding trouble, and is instead avoiding them for benefits he’d gain if he does so, this is still my cup of tea. A protagonist that doesn’t get into trouble volutarily is great!
skipped to the latest but he is still hiding, playing lowkey is cliche, I've seen it millions of times and is boring if it keeps going like that.
the more the mc hides the more enemy would come so why hide, so stupid, I've seen so much I will play low-key and then the new enemy comes and he fights him and then he's like im going low-key again, seen **** like that 100 times over and over and over and over and is boring as ****, especially when the mc is on earth and is strong but still acts like he's in danger so he has to act normal, just act like urself.
Him acting in the shadow is cliche and why do that when he can solve the problem with his own hands, and what's the point of reading if his like batman and other mc which everyone has read, it makes sense if he acted lowkey, in the beginning, to take his family over but continuing acting low key is boring, and he doesn't act like a dragon at all cuz I never heard a dragon that hides, he has 0 dragon pride and that's what I've seen so far from reading, if u wanted to do the cliche low key then go with a normal human, not a dragon. I mean, what would the readers think when they read the title, a dragon that hides from mortal, a fucking mortal, a mortal that is an ant compared to a dragon, makes no fucking sense, I don't think his a dragon or even an immortal being at all. If he was a human it would have made sense but this doesn't make sense at all, feels like the title is clickbait, why continue to read if the author says mc would forever be a stupid dragon that hides and acts like a batman.
UNIQUE APPROACH, AWESOME MC, NOT CLICHE UNIQUE APPROACH, AWESOME MC, NOT CLICHE UNIQUE APPROACH, AWESOME MC, NOT CLICHE

Some people may like it but most of people especially old readers will hate it especially if they read other kingdom building novel.
I suggest if you don't want to lose your brain cell then don't read it.
other world has 0 background.
IDK how the **** MC buy sword crossbow and guns in morden era? There are 0 info or interaction with other world
This novel is not for those who dislike slow paces, as there is little action as of yet. I personally like how the author is slowly building the world, the people, and the people's situations, in what I can only assume as building up a foundation for the novel to pick up the pace later, possibly going on grand adventures while managing their territory. Somethings I dislike though, would have to be the one-trick pony, Rebecca. She is just barely above useless in terms of her magic, and is portrayed as a compassionate airhead, putting her in an even worse light for me. Her character could be improved later if she were to learn new magic, but I am not expecting much on the personality front, which is ok in the end. The second problem I have would have say would be how Gawain does not use the knowledge he gained from observing the world to its full potential, as it could be used to locate large spots of resources, but it is mainly used as a basic geographical map. Another problem concerning Gawain is how he does not use his knowledge of the present to further technology, but this has been semi-rectified in the later chapters that are currently out, and we can make some speculations about his position in modern society from his actions. The largest problem I have thus far though, would have to be how magic is used, this is never truly explained and readers, like myself, have to make inferences on how magic is cast, made, or studied. I love magic, and I would love to know how the people of this novel use it, which would greatly enhance the novel for people like me. Something I have yet to discuss is the world itself, but you can figure that out just by reading the first third of the novel. I left out quite a few other things I loved and disliked about the novel, although there are vastly more things that I liked than disliked. but overall I Love this novel, and hope it gets picked up, so I can continue to read how the story progresses.
Summary- Good novel, highly recommend
I got to the latest free chap and this story is not about kingdom building. Its more like a dark DND story filled with intrigue and drama. I feel like with the current pacing it might take 300+ chaps for the kingdom bldg to start. I like the writing style its detailed but on the down side the pacing suffers heavily. I may have not remembered but there were no details regarding government, economy, military, trading or etc.The details were mostly about their thoughts, situations, movements and expressions.
i heavily suggest the author should read release the witch, its currently my favorite book in webnovel and most likely the best kingdom building novel in this site.
