I don't get the premise. Its kinda like the author didn't want to copy the standard openings and couldn't come up with one on his own so he just...skipped it... That said its not bad once you get into it.
Why the hell is there such a big story gap between 117-118!? Suddenly he is no longer trying to catch a new pet and is now in a life and death battle with characters who were never introduced to us! This post is just to vent about how mad this made me cause I was enjoying it up till that point.
I want to like the story, but the grammar is just hard to stomach after 10 or 15 chapters... please find a beta or proofreader... This story has so much potential, but the bad English is ruining the enjoyment of the story.

This has been another one of Muse's books that i have thoroughly enjoyed. I have been here since the very first book in the Alpha series and I must say the books have been worth every penny. Give this book and more in the series a chance, you won't regret it.
