There was a note early on by the author himself that *nc*st would not be something he went down. This is why alot are mad. But stories can change and all we do is read.
Obviously that changed but as soon as Victor got home and his mom mistook him for a wall I foresaw stuff changing.
By a socially acceptable age gap, do you mean that it's unacceptable because she's underage (in modern views) or it's unacceptable because there's a 5-year age gap?
