The beginning is kind of looking like MVS, but the story is great. I like the writing style too since it's quite easy to understand, and the angel theme is well found too. Let's see what you will do later author ;)
For now I find this novel very good:
The MC has tragic past we still don't know. The first Arc (until chapter ~30) seems to be the prologue and it was very good.
Concerning MC past I like the fact that he seems to have a close relationship in the past with a girl but end up separated cause of some event. It give some new vibes different from other novels in the romance part.
Again a good work from you author, I am updated on Death Guns which I find excellent too. I hope you will keep up updating Death Guns and now Crimson Overlord cause I love both of them.
i just read until chapter 47. this novel is zombies but have a cultivation vibe. this novel is very similiar like typical chinese novel with brainless mc, no world brackground and cliche plot. forced my brain to read but can't handle it anymore. if you are going to waste your time then go ahead.

The book has great potential. Good use of words that complement the subject of the story as a whole. And as a reader you will get the chance to see author's idea and how he placed them to make a story.
an amazing book author, I wanted to ask you something really but I found the review/comment section isn't the best of place to ask is there a way we can talk privately. sincerely your dear reader
A strange protagonist, "He can't do what ordinary people do, but ordinary people can't do what he can do.," sums it up pretty well. World building isn't there, because this isn't a world. It's a simulation in the form of a game populated by broken souls. Once the MC jumps out of the game the setting gains a bit of depth, but, with the end just around the corner, nothing is fleshed out. 99% of the story follows the protagonist's perspective, so we learn what he learns as he learns it. The ending wasn't bad, a little open-ended, with a bit of a legacy left for those fated.
It has always been a pleasure to read stories similar to the Korean ones that are popular now, especially I remember the novella "Nove's Extra
This novel has no plot. It is like author wrote unrelated events, then combined into story.
After 650+ chapters I'm back to give another review. ~Mc isn't stupid, he doesn't chase skirts like most of the Cultivation novel MC's. He is hardworking, shameless, shows kindness and doesn't show mercy to his enemies. ~Side characters who's their own problems and life. They are not there to only shine the MC but they are flesh out characters who has their own uniqueness.Character development is really good. ~World building is also a strong point of the novel. There are another world's ready to be explored, there are multiple continents with their own uniqueness. And you can expect much more in the future. ~ Enemies are strong, really strong with great backgrounds and has massive armies. There are more than couple of enemies that MC has to face before continuing his journey. One more powerful than the other. ~Battle scenes are really good. It takes his intelligence as well his strength to come out on the positive side of the battles.~English is the the best but it's not the worst either with few grammatical errors. ~Romance has potential. Trust me on this but i see that author knows his stuff and you can expect a gradual building relationship between characters. ~It is a well paced story neither slow nor fast. ~MC has his plot armor but that will not make him OP, though it will give him an immense potential on his journey to the top.He isn't seeking strength for some b*lls**t reasons but to save his life and the lives of his subordinates. ~MC is not omnipotent he will make mistakes, he has his own flaws. But let me remind you without flaws there will be a limited space for character growth.Overall a very good gem of a novel. If you've read this far that give it a try you'll surely love it.
