I like this web novel, despite its simplicity, but the King of Cooking arc is terrible. It feels like uninteresting filler. , the character development is weak, and it bothers me how the author doesn't address how strange it is for a sword to have a human doppelgänger, or at least show Fran's reaction to it; unless it was so underdeveloped that I missed it. The first mention of Shishou using the sword is done off-screen, seemingly more as a surprise for Fran than something he wanted to keep hidden.
The heavy focus on cooking and Fran's appetite was a significant misstep for the story. I'm only continuing to read in the hope that it improves. The machine-translated chapters from 67 to 72 by Comet Translation were so poorly done that they almost made me quit the series. Good luck.
I'm currently engrossed in this novel, and let me tell you, it's fantastic! Initially, it seemed like a straightforward killing game, but I suspect there's much more depth beneath the surface. I'm eager to uncover all the secrets! To be honest, I find the protagonist, Fang Daichuan, surprisingly not dumb. In fact, I think he's endearing in his innocence and straightforwardness - quite adorable, actually.
The male lead, Li Sinian, has really captured my heart. With his high intellect and unwavering dedication to protecting his Chuan ge (which I assume is an affectionate term), he's a charming character. He's just too cute!
Each supporting character also holds its own intrigue, with their unique stories and hidden layers. It's fascinating how they all contribute to the narrative.

At a certain point in the manhwa, the characters became more like robots, no real interaction between each other, so novel it is for ME then.
Any other novel where the MCs weapon of choice is their body, like punching dudes and kicking shins and whatnot, reading azarynth healer which meets that criteria but I can't seem to remember any other

Super necromancer system is a really good one, better then the other two you've read in my opinion, it has romance, but I stopped as it started, they kinda wanted to see how things went and build upon it, I believe sub 200 it started? Enjoy!
