RemarkableIdiot
Waiting for new chapter.
(You can find this book in MTL but it is very confusing with name and story, so I hope you continue to update chapters)
I have read the RAWs a couple months ago up to chapter 132. Author wrote in his reader notes that this novel was supposed to have a System, but he scrapped it and had to rewrite what he planned to write. Reason? He said something like ,,I know there are not many exciting moments, but I have ambitions in my little heart. With a System, everything would be too easy to solve, no tension, no suspension, no ability, just ask system and done. If you don't like it, then so be it, I am writing it for myself, as for those who continue to support, thank you".
He made the MC imagine himself to be as those in the books with system, but due to lack of cheat he started to write status bars, numbers and so on on normal paper. MC said it will help remember things more easily when he thinks it's his system :D
I stopped reading despite the novel being super good and author's personality as above. Why? Reason 1: A few years of timeskip (the type i don't like, because i don't know what happened during that time and he has children already, the time skip was done to make it more realistic: it's a long term family buildup novel so they can't really battle all the time or face crises hence why skip as he for some reason didn't want to write about peaceful days). Reason 2: A wife with secrets and too strong of a personality.. With these two things, the novel's model that focused on family rather than MC lost its charm for me. Sects didn't play any active role up to chapter 132, only mentioned, e.g. that some promising children have to be sent to make name for themselves or obtain outside resources while the rest it's best to cultivate by family for family. Maybe i'll pick the novel up someday but the timeskip+wife combo really put me off especially when it was MTL. Either way, do check it out, this is the best novel in this genre, the other ones like Ancestor Above are too bland, illogical etc. There's only Great Tang Idyll that could perhaps compare, but is still probably not as good, but it's quite different as it has 2 MCs as a core while this one has family as a core.

I can predict that upcoming chapters will br interesting. I'm feared that upcoming generation will not become victim if it.
I will give my honest opinion.
I found the plot of the novel interesting, anyone can relate to this MC and his relationship with his family facilitates this, the MC's personality expressing his emotions helps the reader to better understand his own character.
All in all it's a good novel.
Hello, Author here. A few points need to be noted before reading the novel.
1) The story is more like fanfic of Mahabharata
2) I took a few liberties, changing the plot as well as the world background for convenience.
3) If readers don't know the Original Story, characters, and certain terms, it will be difficult to understand.
4) More than one female lead for MC.
5) Romance isn't the focus of the novel.
6) MC will be OP
7) Readers can expect a lot of side stories for central characters.
8) The story won't end at the war. But, we'll see when we get there.
9) The updates will not be stable. I write and publish when I can afford the time.
|| This review will only be limited to volume 2 as I will wait for volume 3 to continue reading.
|| Writing Quality [ 3 stars ]: Somehow, the amount of errors got worse in volume 2. It did improve around the middle of the volume but just enough to be on par with volume 1's quality. I hope the author could improve his writing because it is the only reason preventing me from calling it one of the best original story I have ever read.
|| Stability of Updates [ 4 stars ]: At the start of the volume, the release rate is a very consistent 2 chap/day. But in the later stages of the volume, it became highly unstable [ 1 chap/2 day -- 4 chap/day ]. It's fine with me since I pretty much binge read the entire volume anyways :)
|| Story Development [ 4 stars ]: I thought that the story by volume 1 is interesting but the author never ceases to amaze me as volume 2 brings the story to a whole new level. The few flaws in my opinion are: Ellena is finally getting her much needed time to stabilize her emotions, but she still acts nearly the same as she did before though. The few middle chapters when the time skips happened are especially boring to read. I felt this part could've been better.
|| Character Design [ 4 stars ]: The low rating is due to the poor description of the members of the 3rd generation group ( the author did state a reason for this ). In my opinion, introduced characters should always be related to the main story and therefore needed to be described better in order to increase the sense of immersion in the story. Because this lack of description, the scenes they are in became hard to imagine, making the chapter feel bland. The design for the other characters in the story is great though, I can't wait to see more.
|| World Background [ 4 stars ]: We're finally introduced to more of the world, though I feel the description for some of the places are a little bit lacking.
|| Extra opinion: I might've judged wrongly at some point as I'm very tired at the moment of writing this review due to online school. Anyways, the 'main' plot about demons have finally start to unfold. You should definitely try this story out. Again, I shall wait for volume 3 to complete before reading to avoid cliffhangers :v.
|| Total score: 3.8 stars
I enjoyed the story when i could read it properly, but the translation recently has been absolutely terrible with repeated duplicate chapters and completely missing chapters in between.
He's Op but the "Rising while being Op" kind of type
started decent but multiple things ruin it1 inconsistencies - MC refering to female characters as he etc annoying 2 the reason for the dungeons to appear just stupid - god lost interest, by putting in the god to your novel it removes any form of progression that MC could achieve through effort for example if you wrote a novel where you train day in day out to develop great power and strength then superman with 0 weaknesses and immortal turns up all efforts seems pointless 3 the reasons for demons desire to conquer utterly ridiculous - they know their greatest enemy could wipe them out with a thought yet still think they are high level beings
Wow...This is totally amazingMore wisdom, knowledge, understanding and direction from God as you continue writingCan't wait for the next chapters to be uploaded ❤️?
Review for chapter 1-10: The start was very fluid. No huge info dump that would make you drop on the first chapter though a lot are taken aback from the text message from a kid. If you get pass that, you'll find out how good this novel is.
The world got slowly narrated in bits and pieces by the MC since it's in his POV. One of the bits I like is when they're looting, each item is told specifically and not generalized like saying 'we collected everything' e.g. Even the guns are identified properly, not just simple saying rifle, shotgun, or pistol.
The characters are great and the High IQ Low-Medium EQ MC is something I really like and the MC is awkwardly funny in some situations besides his calculated nature. 5 Stars!
