amazing one, light enough to be funny and deep enough to immerse.
This was a surprisingly good read. (read ~380 chapters rn)
I thought this was gonna be a generic "hide my OP power for no reason" kinda read but it gets really interesting as the story goes on.
The whole "tame beasts" concept of the novel is over around chapter 50 and he leaves to a MUCH larger world. I'm not really a fan of modern settings but it's not there in the later parts of the novel since the "human race" that the MC spends the first part of the story is like an insignificant spec compared to the larger world.
The MC is a battle maniac but the reason why is explained later along with the reason his system is the way it is. Everything is slowly being explained and the MC goes from over the top kinda hot-headed to more mellow and go with the flow as his power slowly reaches the peak of the world.
Read about 100 chaps before deciding if this is for you or not
Bland MC with no redeeming qualities, zero world building, zero explanation on how the MC received the ability or how it really functions, zero explanation at all. I didn't even realize people had levels and have abilities until like chapter 10.
I would've liked to read more but I reached chapter 15, I couldn't keep reading the poor translation. Too many things made no sense.
Realmente es bueno aunque los capítulos salen lentos al menos es muy buena historia sigo diciendo ya falta poco para llegar alos 100 capitulos ya ando más ansioso ya que va por momentos buenos en lantrama
(I have read up to current chapter 101.) All I can say is this story is really good. just endure until chapter 50 so that you can see just how good this story is. Also there is no romance so far even though there was multiple chances for the senior sister cliche to happen. The mc is not a White knight but he’s not an outright villain either. so far even though the mc is strong enough to leave the sect I’m so glad he is not sect hopping. There are little grammar mistakes sometimes but the author also fixes them when you point them out. Chapter realease Consistency so far is alright. World building so far is also great. I see this story as a future top story in the rankings it’s way better than the current top 9 novels . I will make another review under this one if this story’s quality drops. So far I’m loving this story and HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
Good story marred with many of the same problems that all regressor-vmmorpg stories have:
1) Equipment is never changed - until way too late, if you want to press your advantages you will of course make sure that you are wearing the best equipment, feeding the growing weapon with as many weapons as possible to increase your stats, etc.
2) Not learning skills - I understand that you have the Versatile class and have to manage many skills, this does not prevent you from learning all of the passive skills instead of leaving the skill points sitting there, once again you are in a race against time.
3) Trying to act "low key" - This is the stupidest thing ever, you want power? Being a lone strong person doesn't help, he needs allies, fame and fortune. Let people know how important it is to be by your side.
4) Money - He said he would help his parents, and yet, nothing so far (or maybe I missed it)
And my last point, work on the grammar and sentence construction, sometimes it feels awkward.
Okay, so kinda a weird story.
1. Writing style is weird, but unique. Only downfall to it is that there are so much POV changes that you sometimes forget who is talking as the author introduces a lot of characters, but we don't have time to figure out who is who yet.
2. Can't really rate this as it is a new novel.
3. Story development seems really forced, and the Asomethingsomething for some reason explained everything to the MC instead of just forcing him to become a hitman which just felt really forced and not real.
4. Character design is okay, there hasn't been anything unique yet, so a solid 4.
5. World background is the best part, as the power system is something I've never seen before. Really awesome.
Overall, a good novel.
All I can say is that. I need more chapters. Author please update soon.
Theres no PP jokes, the MC just kinda appears and hes all like ahhhh monster! Piu Piu monster ded yey, but i like the natives they seem realistic ish and the story is alright but... No PP jokes boys :(
I wish I could give the writing quality more than 5 stars. Stylistically it’s one of the best novels I have read on this platform. The form and structure is also well defined. The dialogue flows, and the world building doesn’t feel like exposition, which honestly makes it already the top 10% in the originals.
The characters aren’t just some cutouts and have their own quirks and habits. The background is well established and makes sense based on their personalities. I also really like the Main leads sister.
The only thing is that I feel the characters, especially the Mc, are a bit too normal. I like Characters that are more expressive. However this is just my personal opionon and won’t affect the review.
The story development, albeit slow, is very steady and we can already expect a lot of future events due to to foreshadowing. The MC has a clear motivation, and it’s is explained why he acts the way he does.
I’ve only read until Chapter 6 but I plan on going further. The novel is definitely one worth checking out. Since even for someone like me, who is not too don’t of Sci-if, it can be enjoyable.
Posting my review again since my previous review is basically not visible to some of my reader friends. Anyways, I'm a long time webnovel reader of like 6 years and really liked the way this one has started off. Can't e bothered to recollect everything else I wrote the first time tbh, you see the 5 stars I gave it
I would have given a better review if not for the terrible main character
