It's underated
thats because the revenge takes time, after chapter 700 you can see them suffering for their evil deeds, after you know what happened in the past everything starts to make sense
When you see the harem tag with 8 to 9 spouses in a 550 chap story, the romance will be shit because there isn't enough time for relationships to develop normally. It just happens with one or two interactions that involve helping the female in some way. I just started reading this, and this is what I'm worried about in the story.
For future readers, the problem mentioned by OP only occurs in the first few tens chapters and then it's back to normal.
do japanese dudes be like , oh yeah dense mc ther gonna love this? how do people like these d*mb*ss mcs??
go to webnovel and search reverend insanity fanfic there you will find 4 decent fanfics
This marks my very first review, and I must say, I absolutely adore this novel! It's filled with hilarious misunderstandings that had me laughing out loud. The main character (MC) is incredibly powerful thanks to their system, which allows them to learn skills like English, Japanese, sign language, cooking, singing, and martial arts - impressive!
I wholeheartedly recommend this book to those who enjoy a smooth progression for the MC and plenty of misunderstandings. The MC's growth is rapid, which might not suit everyone who prefers a slower pace, but personally, I find it satisfying.
What I particularly enjoy is the contrast between the MC's appearance and their reactions, which adds a delightful touch of humor. The plot doesn't delve deeply into uncovering the MC's background; instead, it focuses on the amusing misunderstandings. (I'm not sure if there will be more exploration of their backstory later on.)
So far, the story remains simple, and if you're looking for an intense investigation into the MC's past, you might be slightly disappointed. However, for fans of light-hearted reads without heavy romance, this is perfect. The MC's focus on acting development keeps the story engaging, even without romantic entanglements. Overall, this novel has become a daily favorite of mine.
There's a lack of logical reasoning or explanation behind the character's crossdressing behavior, as well as the protagonist's attraction or pretense of affection towards them. It all appears random and unfounded.
I've come across novels with unimaginative plots or poorly developed characters, but none have quite reached the level of absurdity this one displays. It's unfortunate because they had a promising premise, but they utterly failed to capitalize on it, turning it into a mess.
I've encountered stories featuring overpowered female leads (FL) or Mary Sues that, despite their flaws, at least had some explanation for their extraordinary abilities. However, this novel takes the clichés to an extreme.
One of the most laughable moments is how the male lead (ML) falls in love. In a highly contrived scene, ML coincidentally meets FL's pseudo-agent on the street. The agent suggests a blind date, which ML accepts. As a result, ML inexplicably becomes head over heels in love with FL without any real reason, going to great lengths to pursue her. Even when FL rejects him, ML persists because she changes her mind about the date, seemingly without any genuine interest from FL's side; she simply wants to be single.
This particular subplot feels utterly unrealistic and unconvincing.
I read the manhua first then wait a few years for another chapters,i wait and wait and wait.I didn't know that its already stop uploading chapters and then i try to find the novel and read it after that i cant find a manhua or novel to my liking i always compare
Sorry fellow brothers im not really good in english
Try Goblin Kingdom, the mc is op but not to the point of destroying armies alone. Personally I like it, and there are actual tactics in stead of mc's army just bull dozing 24/7. Also mc sometimes loses and most importantly its not a harem novel~
A well-written story, one that manages to get me somewhat excited to read even if I have no idea about half of the sports terms. There's good potential here and I'd like to see a bit more of how the pressure to perform can bring out other traumas, especially since the MC is carrying some pretty significant traumatic events.
A small primer on relevant football terms would be helpful, something at the beginning I could reference back to.
