The text is quite brief and adorable. The moment where ML confesses his feelings to MC was unexpectedly sweet, considering up till that point, it seemed like MC's affection was one-sided. It would have been nice if the author delved deeper into their developing relationship beforehand, but the eventual coupling was satisfying. There's a minor inconsistency, as the story suggests that even though MC has transformed into a human, he still has a lifespan longer than regular humans. This contradicts the explanation about the tree spirit turning fully human within half a year. Despite this, overall, it's an enjoyable read.
I would find you complaining if it was slow paced.
I liked the beginning, after 100 it becomes boring when Soon Seong becomes the heavenly demon. Plus the old heavenly demon doesn't feel like heavenly demon. I have seen it happening, when demonic are with MC, there demonic nature never shows. Only when they are opposed by the MC do their nature shows.
