I changed my username lol. @kuriosoth
cuz sao has an arc inside a VRMMO shooting game
Is it worth it? I am hesitant to start it as there are no stakes. The introduction feels like a Korean drama. Any thoughts?
The Legendary Mechanic and THE SECOND COMING OF GLUTTONY are top for me, and I am searching for something in that range.
So beautiful! Unexpectedly funny! Full of twists ? The main character (MC) was surprisingly witty and humorous! A real food enthusiast! And such a quick thinker! It’s okay if there’s no magic; I can have the MC all to myself ? The first translator did an amazing job, and the latest translator is fantastic too. Hope Lunar won’t be forgotten, hehe.
The narrative is exceptional; the author displays a profound understanding or extensive research in various mythologies and legends, particularly in the realms of Cthulhu and Chinese folklore. The storytelling, with its seamless shifts between multiple perspectives, maintains a suitable balance, preventing the protagonist's voice from getting lost amidst lengthy side-character arcs. Although the pace of world-building might be considered gradual, it's necessary to set the stage for the主角's abilities. The translation is commendable, and the consistent daily updates cater to my preferences. I wholeheartedly recommend this story.
This is an enchanting and invigorating tale featuring a shamelessly adorable and lovable main male character (ML) and a rational and straightforward female lead (FL) who gets straight to the point. I appreciate the dynamic between them and how the story adeptly handles the spoiler alert element of their immortal nature. Despite both being essentially immortal, their shared longing and emotional pain are palpable, especially since they are unaware of each other's immortality. The FL's reflections on the eternal life, devoid of death, and the inherent loneliness are particularly touching.
Regardless of whether she truly forgot or chose not to remember, it no longer matters. Happiness brought by the promise of having no regrets from the past is often accompanied by a simultaneous sense of anxiety, knowing that every moment will eventually fade into the past, leaving cherished memories as lingering regrets.
Kudos to the translation team for their prompt and excellent work!
Absolutely fantastic! The main character (MC) is a classic cool, smart, and resourceful individual, but the author skillfully balances this portrayal without making them appear overly powerful. The dynamic between the MC and the main love interest (ML) still radiates an undeniable sense of "fated enemies," and I'm eager to see how their relationship unfolds in the future. What's impressive is that supporting characters serve more than just to amp up the excitement; they each have unique traits, adding depth to the story. Highly recommended for a captivating read!
"Code Zulu Alpha: Nerd in the Apocalypse" is a captivating read that seamlessly blends post-apocalyptic intrigue with the relatable charm of a reluctant hero. The protagonist's nerdy wit provides a refreshing twist amidst the chaos, making for an engaging journey. The author's vivid imagination paints a compelling world where survival skills and intellectual prowess intertwine. A must-read for those who love thought-provoking narratives with a dash of humor, it keeps you hooked till the very end.
its fantasy....
