Your book was really good; it provided detailed descriptions that allowed me to imagine the scenes in your story. I also appreciated your clear writing style, which helped me to understand the plot. Overall, it was a great read, although I found the name of the main character a bit long. By the way, I particularly enjoyed the way you described Shiroha in one of the chapters. Your description was so vivid that I felt like I could already picture her appearance
As always a great novel by Wang Yu. If you liked Demon’s Diary or A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality, than you will also enjoy this novel. In comparison with other cultivation novels, this one greatest strength lies in ****** a believable world, that apart from the protagonist, has side characters that have goals, strength and weaknesses and in the end, influence the world around him. Cultivation doesn't require you to "grit your teeth and endure", it requires planning, resources and thinking ahead of others to survive. All in all, it is a much more realistic approach to cultivation novels.
The VRMMO is terribly designed. It has the most bare bones framework but nothing past it. It's hard to gauge the difficulty of fights as we have no clue how much HP the monster has or how much DMG MC (or anyone else, really) does. At best we get some vague **** like 'boss has tons of hp' and 'MC deals hills of dmg'. Stats are just numbers and they play little role besides 'he added points in agility now he's faster'. It's just too vague to be appreciated. Leveling curve is kind of nonsense to be honest, but, whatever, it's a power-fantasy VRMMO, it's not like you can expect any better.
female characters in this novel are insufferable There's not a single decent female character in the novel. Every few chapters, new chick gets introduced and I just want to punch them all in the face. Perhaps the worst point is that the MC just goes along with their insanity. Our mc just does whatever people want because he is an, ”good person”.
Writing style is... not that great. Excessive repetition, empty paragraphs of nothingness, very, very vague fights (MC dodged, he attack, he dodged them all easily, bam they're all dead). There's occasional fight with more detail, but not by a large margin. Even the very first BOSS fight is basically 'MC discovered the flaw, MC dodges, MC strikes, MC kills, the end'.
By far the best novel of the last few cycles.
Synopsis sounds generic, but the execution is very well done. Other then eternal life (lifespan, can still die) he has no other cheats. Therefore he has to use his wits (the author uses his wits) to actually win out.
I've always seen Cats but never Dog. I am very curious about this!!
I think this novel is for ladies that have a femdom fetish..
When I read the early chapters I thought this will be a comedy, then when I progress,, I can't bare to read anymore

This is a very interesting Novel I love the plot and especially the virtual reality system, I also love how shameless the mc is and am looking forward to seeing him steamroll people. I just hope that he doesn't start chasing after girls so heavily especially when it will lead to a lot of minor problems instead of trying to make his own empire especially since he took out loans and will have a lot of issues irl if he doesn't focus on progress.

The story is OKAY, however, every once in a while I start thinking "this is garbage". There was a chapter that talked about how you won't be able to kill a monster if you hit the leg when it's HP is at 1. There was a whole tangent about how this was real life and whatnot...I digress.
The main thing that caught me off guard is that he has been in the first woods he landed in for five plus years. You would think he would have figured that out by now. Another aspect is when he gets his class. He was suppose to have been battered by the elements, but reading that chapter I felt the author might have well just given him the class. The first element was fire, it was meant to burn his soul and body and that somewhat portrayed. He just clenched his teeth and withstood it. Thing is, how could he. He was a regular person, before the reincarnation, spent five plus years in the woods to level (by the way only getting to about 15, which is bull...five year and only 15 when the first monster he kills gets him like 9 levels), then you are expected to feel like he's a tough dude. Didn't get that. I mean fire, water, wind, earth, metal, ect. was attacking his soul and body, and you expect me to believe he just clenched his teeth and withstood it from some inner strength? Nah.
If you had made it a point in those five year he was in the woods to toughen the MC mentally and physically...then yeah, I'll buy it...but you didn't.
And the skills that the wolf passed to him, the heal, purify and the others, I can get how that can happen. I mean the wolf is supposedly bad ass. I can get behind that. Thing is we are never really explained to of how skills get around, how they are passed, conditions, ect. It just seems like anyone can pass skills around like that if they have a technique, which I'm guessing is a no. So, I would have like to have seen more in the shape of an explanation of what skills are, how do you get them, can you get a skill outside you class, can you work towards a skill or do they just use skills books.
Also, I get the felling that there is no order...or rather no reason as to why he has done a lot of the things he's done and if there were it's not really well written out.
This novel tries to make the MC mysterious, but in the end it fails..with the whole "No Name" alias he uses in the brothel, I get that his status screen doesn't have a name for him, but that alias is just dumb.
Overall, this story tires, but fails in my opinion.
