i remember few months ago this novel definite have a very high rating, it was a decent novel iirc, but months passed and now i comeback to webnovel and i saw the rating rn of this novel i was really shocked lol, what the hell happened man? well, NTR happened. i mean i get it that the author just wants to write whatever he wants, what his heart tells him to write, i respect that, but on the other hand it is definitely a weird choice to take, because of it the novel suffers like crazy and logically i can't help but think it's definitely a stupid thing to do. due to it, ruined this novel for a lot of people, i mean there's probably some people that have been reading since chapter 1 and been supporting you and all, loving the novel, paying for it and all of a sudden hundreds of chapter later they got served NTR out of nowhere which the thing they despised the most. that's gotta be one of one feeling huh well if you are this person then i hope your soul recover swiftly. that's all i want to say, don't take this seriously im just yappin, anyways good luck to you author, i hope you doin well. have a nice day.
Okay so the scene where the captain confronts Lin Mengling after she tries to play the victim card? Chef's kiss. He literally says "I went to the battlefield in my teens and killed countless Japanese soldiers. I can tell when someone's really trying to die." That line hit me like a truck. The way he saw right through her manipulation in one sentence—no drama, no lengthy interrogation, just cold hard recognition. And then he just... orders her tied up and taken to the police station that same night. No debate, no second chances. The other brigade members even chime in saying she doesn't deserve to stay. It's so satisfying when a story doesn't waste time on fake moral dilemmas about whether to give a manipulative person another chance. What I also loved was the police investigation the next morning. The author did this really smart thing where the officers first talk to random villagers at the brigade entrance, and the old folks basically serve as a Greek chorus, filling in all the details about Lin Mengling's crimes before the police even reach the Lei house. "That Educated Youth Lin is real trouble—caused Si Yueyue to give birth prematurely and ran off. She almost caused one corpse and three lives." This exposition dump feels completely natural because it's happening through casual gossip. Then when they arrive at the Lei residence, Lei Dashu's reaction—"If my second son hadn't sacrificed his life, and if his wife hadn't risked death to give birth to those two children, we would never want to burden the country's resources like this"—adds this whole new layer. The family isn't just ordinary villagers; they're a martyr's family. That changes everything about how we're supposed to read their situation. And then Si Yueyue's testimony scene. She quotes the party slogan "No investigation, no right to speak" so smoothly that even the officers raise their eyebrows. The author uses this tiny detail to show she's educated and sharp, not just a helpless victim. The plot keeps stacking revelations on top of each other and I couldn't put it down.

MC is op, adapts fast , knows his way around women , good plot line , story spans across many worlds which is very good , has harem which is excellent overall nice novelbut why are there no updates for this novel ?
No story is perfect, and this one isn't too. Nonetheless, gonna give all 5-stars because there will never be a perfect novel. And that doesn't mean it is not good, entertaining and nice! Continue with the great work, author!
The story is well written (although the setting is similar to some other novels). The beginning was slow-paced and had very little character development and world background(which is still a lot lacking), but the story progression was fine so no complaints.The MC sometimes acts like a dense-headed Dunce who lacks a presence of mind but it's funny that way and his situational awareness is good.Since the system is a shop type the business aspect felt a bit lacking since it was mostly used to suppress powerful people and also it is a lot less talkative and doesn't help much( asking a low IQ MC to figure out its functions on his own is like asking a newborn baby to walk)The magic and spell system and world background and development leave a lot to be desired. Let's just hope new worlds are not introduced when the MC has not even explored the 1% of his current word.All in all, I like it and was worth reading. (Evaluation after reading 163 chapters)

The characters are totally unrealistic. I mean, every single one. MC saw his power used in the most sensible and correct way, decides to use it in the most silly way. Female lead hates murder and even seeing people hurt. The MC comes along, kidnaps her and forces her to kill people. She went along with the whole situation like nothing happened and even falls head over heels for him.... His parents are also uses, it would have been better if he was an orphan; seeing as they had no presence and were totally useless. Author also places dialogue wrongly; therefore the whole story flow is bad ( He would put it before a long set of actions, so the dialogue just feels out of place, while the reading what happens later is already ruined because you already created an image of what you thought happened.)
