so far such a great read
is there a 2nd book to this? I loved the book, but the ending was a bit of a letdown. there was so much not explained. who sent the letters how the pregnancy was explained to all and how he reacted to his Betas relationship.
Alright, after devouring this book, I really enjoyed it and would give it a 4.5 rating. Some might perceive the romance as slow, but that's due to the way the chapters are divided into two or three parts in the translation. When reading the original text, you'll notice a smooth storytelling progression. What I appreciate is the subtle and calming nature of the narrative. The author doesn't resort to overly dramatic confrontations with the antagonist. Overall, it's a great choice for leisure reading, and I might even revisit it when my bookshelf runs dry.
As others have mentioned, the main character (MC) is overly virtuous to the point of being irritating. That's enough for me; I've decided to stop reading this novel. Most readers either despise or wish ill upon the MC, but surprisingly, he remains oblivious and lacks any negative perspective. He avoids revenge and couldn't care less about consequences. This story isn't grounded in reality or logic; the MC simply drifts along without any significant aspirations. It feels like a dead-end narrative, much like the book itself. It might appeal more to children due to its constant positivity.
Unlike other novels with a similar premise, the protagonist is refreshingly not arrogant or narcissistic, making for a unique and engaging story.
It’s also very fast-paced, with events unfolding rapidly, yet the system, while helpful, doesn’t resort to convenient last-minute saves.
The story flows nicely, with only minor translation issues that barely affect the reading experience. This makes it a fun and enjoyable read. The story has a touch of comedy, a strong premise, and captures the interactions between characters in a believable and relatable way.
If you enjoy clan-building novels set in a cultivation world with a dash of humor, this is a great recommendation.
EDIT: I finished the novel, and while it starts off incredibly strong, it does lose some momentum towards the middle and end. The story remains good but isn’t as captivating as it was at the beginning.
chapter 540
I appreciate this approach. Unlike many other novels, she handles revenge with a more nuanced and satisfying strategy. Although it's engaging, I would suggest skimming through the first part for a quicker read. What I particularly enjoy is her character development; she doesn't become overly powerful overnight, but learns and grows steadily.
I have never doubted the deep foundations of our senior brother, don't try to sully my honorable name or you will know the height of mount tai!
You made this even better
Got some question here did the book ends already or it just the author forgot to changed the status to completed
To be honest, it was good at the start, even in the middle, but now, it's more of a news report than a story, but I still continue because I have come too far to stop
