This book was absolutely amazing. I couldn't put my phone down. Your descriptions and attention to detail made me have every emotion (from anger, sadness, love, etc.) for each character that made this book a joy to read. Kudos to you for a job well done. I'm excited to read the rest of your work.
Absolutely loved this book. It is truly amazing
I love this storyline! I can't wait to see what happens when they get back to their town and her family.
The pacing in these first two chapters is absolutely ruthless and I am here for it. Chapter 1 starts with the classic rebirth awakening—calendar check, panic, sprint out the door—and then immediately drops us into a massive exposition dump about the previous life's tragedy. And you know what? It works. It works because Hehua doesn't just sit and remember, she MOVES. She's running the entire time, and the narrative keeps cutting between her physical sprint and the backstory, which creates this breathless quality like you're running alongside her. Then Chapter 2 opens with a splash and we're immediately in the action. The scene transitions from Hehua's internal emotional state to pure external chaos, and the rhythm is perfect. She jumps in, Jiandang watches, she elbows the woman, slaps her face, signals her brother, takes out the hidden guy—it's a full action sequence compressed into what feels like five minutes of reading time. No filler. No breathing room. Just momentum. What I love especially is how the author uses Jiandang as a pacing device. Every time the scene gets too intense or too dark, we cut to his reaction: "Shen Jiandang: '...'" That running gag of his speechless brother is basically the author's way of letting the reader exhale. It's comedic relief that also serves as a barometer for how unhinged Hehua's behavior is. And the ending of Chapter 2—where Jiandang finally figures out the whole trap and takes out the male educated youth—lands perfectly as a mini-climax. You finish it wanting to immediately read Chapter 3.
Nice story to be read
