TheForgottenLegend
very good.
Ethan needs to tell Ava the truth. I am already feeling bad on her behalf.
Amazon blurb! I love the narrative style
I pondered for a long time as to why I adore this novel despite its seemingly straightforward premise – a guy and a group of girls battling monsters and engaging in romantic moments. It's not groundbreaking; it follows the well-trodden harem formula. Yet, I found myself constantly returning to the site daily, eagerly awaiting updates.
The answer hit me: the story executes the formula flawlessly. In today's harem narratives, they often fall into two predictable categories: either a dramatic rom-com where multiple girls vie for the protagonist's affection, causing chaos and indecision, or an overpowered protagonist saves the day by overwhelming force or mind control. At first glance, this series seemed poised to lean towards the latter, but it avoids that trap.
The hero possesses strength, but it's more akin to being a skilled gamer rather than a godlike figure. Each character stands out with unique personalities and reasons for their attachment, keeping the harem aspect grounded without unnecessary drama. The story remains consistently lighthearted, focusing on the fun and sweetness of the situation, like a delightful dessert after a rich main course.
This novel is my go-to after diving into heavier fare with intense battles, epic quests, intricate alliances, and shifting loyalties. It's a refreshing change to unwind with a pure, enjoyable harem experience.
How would I express this? This novel left me with an incredibly positive impression. It was like a subtle emotional slap, as the characters' realization of the protagonist's multiple world-saving actions sparked an unexpected wave of excitement within me. The characters might not be exceptional, but the main character definitely stands out. Despite the underlying facade, the story is truly remarkable. If you're searching for a self-sacrificing protagonist theme, this book hits the spot.
The First Order?
Another mary sue that says she want to stay away from person A at all costs while WALKING towards person A and then get shocked how such a thing happened!
Generic dense shoujo novel lady
Edit: this sh1t is oozing of marie sue shojo novels. Read 16 chapters and its following the formuls lf super stupid female lead that only monologues and praises herself for being a genius while people who flirt with her with blatant romantic interest get ignored because she does not understand and is forced by author to have the brain of a goldfish.
Jesus! these shojo novels are worse than generic harem novels. Its disgusting how utterly non innovative it is. If you read some previously, especially manga or manhwa, you'll practically see the sewn together cliche lines one after the other.
example. The FL brain does not register 9/10 dialogue sentences said to her and only hears 1 of them. With the ignored 9 being romantic approaches so explicit a toddler would realize they like her.
Trash/10
I remember this. What happened to this novel?
right , it would be strange to change the world so many times. but it's factible, did you read the tree of aeon, it's **** about a tree that has a human sould, don't like to spoiled it, but the world in that story changes a lot, I stopped reading because the same , it's like my brain just mixes all the information and practically found everything the same, I'm not sure , because I am conciusly that I want to read more, but I feel like for my brain is hard to read, strange right? it's supposed to be that I"m the brain, so how I feel that I'm not the problem but my brain. jjjj
What's the r-18 tag for?
