Initially, the story presented a captivating system concept where the protagonist gained points by causing strong emotions in others, allowing them to swiftly acquire various skills and enhance their physique. However, after around chapters 300-400, the focus shifted away from the "Genius System," with the main character exploiting it solely for trolling and fame.
The narrative fell short due to several issues. Racism and nationalism became prominent, with characters from different ethnicities portrayed negatively, often seen as threats or inferior to Chinese characters. The portrayal of Western medicine was unfavorably compared to traditional Chinese practices like acupuncture and bloodletting, even suggesting it as a cure for serious illnesses like cancer.
Moreover, the protagonist's character development took a dark turn, losing control and resorting to extreme violence, culminating in instances of lethal aggression and a shocking act of rape (which, surprisingly, his wife later forgives). My interest waned,促使 me to leave this review after checking if there was a redeeming ending. Unfortunately, the story veered off its enjoyable path around chapter 300.

The storyline lacks angst and features thrilling moments that captivate the reader. The romance evolves gradually, grounded in an engaging enemies-to-lovers dynamic where both main characters genuinely treat each other as adversaries. There's a palpable sexual tension that runs throughout the book, but emotions are handled maturely without unnecessary drama. While the relationship takes time to unfold, there isn't a dull moment in sight. All conflicts are resolved fairly, without betrayals, leaving a satisfying resolution. The plot twists keep things exciting, and the relationship is always consensual. Overall, it's a well-crafted narrative with a heartwarming ending.

At the beggining this novel was lowkey fire but after like 200 chaps it goes downhill, the mc takes unecessary risks, becomes the most talented /the chosen one, gets supreme technique, and it just becomes a typical chinese cultivation novel with people saying courting death abd what not all the time
