Love this story so good leaves you on the edge every time. Love the characters also the two main characters Vincenzo and Claire.

Let's talk about how these characters actually sound, because the dialogue here is doing so much heavy lifting. Yan Tang is the master of controlled devastation. He spends the first half of the auction being polite to Li Yunmu—"What exactly do you mean by that, Lord Li?"—but Qin Buwen, who clearly knows him intimately, reads right through it: "She knew. Yan Tang was furious." The gap between what he says and what he means is where the real writing lives. And then there's Ji Junjiao, who barely says anything but every word lands. "Minister Situ, you cannot buy this ring." Calm. Absolute. No drama, just fact. That's a character who doesn't need to raise his voice. The auctioneer's voice is almost comically theatrical—"Not only is there nothing else like it in Chang'an—there is not another one in all of Yaoyun!"—which provides this perfect contrast to the deadly seriousness underneath. But the line that destroyed me was Yan Tang's whisper: "That... belongs to me." Three words. Delivered so quietly no one else could hear. And yet it carries the weight of everything unsaid between him and Qin Buwen. The author trusts the reader to feel it without explaining.
They all are a big mafia and plotters who plot against everyone for money and fame. These loser authors who make different new ids and promote them with their old one should not think of them to be so smart. This is a plagiarized book and everyone supporting it is a loser and a cheater.

very poorly written..lots of incomplete sentence, huge grammar and spelling mistake which is really irritating and killing the mood..feels like a work of an amateur..
Excellent first chapters! I think this is one of the most anticipated stories. What will the future hold for Angela? I can't wait to find out.
