I really want to see if Athena would give Trevon a second chance, which I doubt would happen though ?
Trevon is such a pain in the ass
great book where are the other ones I cant find them
loved this book. but I feel like others that the ending was rushed and took to long to where u start to forget. when u write a sequel for this q I'm gonna wait till u get done so I can binge read it.. lol
When does book 2 come out?! Feels like it has been a long time
I just started reading this today and its pretty interesting novel and I know I would love it. Im just shook that this is still ongoing after 500+ chapters.. Im not sure now if I need to continue....
wow that was an emotional rollacoaster chapter
okay so the thing is this is a really good book…when it actually talks about the people in the description. What I mean is that instead of this being abt like Maddox, it’s instead mixed with other characters that I feel should have gotten there own book, there was barely anything abt Maddox. 1)
Great novel! Love it!
It’s a very good erotic storyline
There's a symbol running through this whole section that I can't shake. Bamboo weaving. Zhao Wenjie's craft—taking something raw, flexible, ordinary, and turning it into something beautiful through patience and repetition. He weaves rabbits and baskets and little backpacks, each one a small act of creation from someone the world would otherwise ignore. Zhou Yuwei sees that and says, "If you added a little color to it, it would look even more beautiful." And someone immediately starts researching dyes. That's the whole story in miniature—someone sees potential in something overlooked and refuses to let it go. But then you contrast that with the other kind of weaving happening in this batch: Mother Cao weaving her son into a cage of guilt and expectation. She's crafting something too, just not something beautiful. The egg baskets are another layer—containers meant to hold something fragile, to protect it during transit. Five hundred baskets, each egg wrapped individually in reeds. The care they put into protecting what's valuable. Meanwhile, Bingkun is the egg that can't be protected, and Liu Changyun is the one getting swept away by a broom. The first pot of gold—2,700 yuan split five ways—represents freedom, but only for some of them. Zhou Yuwei mails money to Grandma Xu and gives her sister a share. Bingkun can't even keep his. What's the point of making money if the people who made it with you are still trapped? That question hangs over the whole batch like smoke.
