The author appears to assume the illustrator will handle the visual aspects like character appearances, emotions, settings, and actions, pushing the "light" aspect too far.
Without the accompanying illustrations from a manga, crucial context is lost, making the storytelling fragmented and disconnected. As with many such works, true enjoyment is difficult, if not impossible. However, there are some redeeming qualities, like the intriguing premise and the protagonist, plus mecha elements that hold personal appeal. In conclusion, my recommendation remains the same: hold out for the manga adaptation, as the novel format falls short.
This one is a good nivel with apocalyptic setring but the updates are slow as f*ck.
It's simple. Just like learning an instrument is seen as amazing, learning a useful language is seen as admirable as well. Imagine, a person you never expected plays the violin adequately, you subconsciously start to think of them as talented. And learning Physics would do the same. It's just harder to show Physics aptitude than it is to show knowing a second language. How many stories of people being low class, but then solving a hard math/physics problem and changing their lives? Or how about this: The MC is sleeping or shows up late for class, the teacher calls them out and says solve this question on the board. And they solve a problem most of the others could not. That's a classic way of showing competence. in story.
Also, learning a second language when you don't use it every day is even more of an achievement. So sure, she may be a teacher and not use it every day, but what that shows people is that she's smart enough to learn a second language easily.

Alright, I have read 5 chapters so far and it seems interesting. Naturally it helps to know that this is the author of GREED which I like very much. Also the "power system" or well the glimpse that we were allowed to see seems rather interesting. Fans being power (at least temporary power) is rather unique. At least I haven't seen that anywhere I think. If I have then it wasn't very memorable. It also brings a unique perspective on the hero/villain world building where an awakened is either a hero or a villain (in society) depending on both their ability and personality. Since fans are power and Heroes have fans this could really make for interesting situations and characters. So I'm excited.
One thing that I hope you do better than in GREED is the placement of the pay wall. I think that it was just too early in GREED. Or well at least considering how you wrote the beginning it was too early. I think more people would have been interested if the free chapters started later. I don't know how much control an author has over that or if its webnovel that has a say in it. However I think that you should carefully consider where to put it here.

I love the Wright Series. This book was awesome. I couldn't stop reading it. Now time to listen to them all in order. You only need to do a book on Kenneth and Graham to successfully cover all the main characters of the generations. Love your writing style. All your books stimulate every emotion.
