I haven't even begun but I am hooked.
This was recommended to me and wow, it's a beautiful blurb.
The whole uniqueness with the Lycan and Werewolves being different... that already had me hooked.
LOVED the blurb, hoping the book itself would be as satisfying ......
There is something about Trevor that makes me want to pull out his intestines, oooh yeah I think I know, he is cheating and has no remorse about it. I just pity my Scarlet for coming in contact with such a perverted demon, I feel for her.
can't wait for more
I am really enjoying this book, PLEASE update. Look forward to finishing it.
Is the 2nd book going to have the same title?
I guess the meeting is not over
This is actually one book where I’d prefer if the female doesn’t end up with her mate. Alec’s been awful, my gosh even the scar on her face. Not sure if he can be redeemed, no matter how much he tries.
I’m loving this story
This is definitely my new favorite book. Picked it up yesterday morning and haven’t put it down a day later. I’m sure I’ll re-read this book often. Well done Author. I love your work and writing style. Keep up the great work. .........
Prologue says the doctor’s name is Diamond Gavin and in the next chapter, it says Marcus Morris.
Okay so let me just say—this plot is absolutely unhinged and I love it. The original novel apparently had a straightforward kidnapping arc where Sang Nian gets rescued by the protagonist squad, right? But then BAM, an octopus demon prince shows up, and suddenly everything is flipped on its head. The guy literally comes out of the water with a catfish in his mouth. A CATFISH. In his mouth. And his excuse for kidnapping two people is that he just really appreciates good-looking people? "I'm a fine catch of a fish, not after your money or your life. What's wrong with a little appreciation for beauty?" I cannot stop thinking about this line. It's so absurdly earnest that it completely derails any tension the scene was building. And then the protagonist squad arrives and instead of being the cold, aloof, gentle, soft characters from the original book, they're all completely different. Wen Buyu chasing someone down with an AXE. Chu Yao cussing nonstop. Su Xueyin clinging to thighs like it's a sport. Sang Nian herself notes the entire cast has derailed, and honestly? Same. The narrative is taking itself seriously in some moments—Xie Chenzhou crushing demonic beast skulls with his bare hands, the blood-stained hands scene—and then immediately undercuts it with pure comedy. That tonal whiplash is somehow working for me. I don't know how. But I'm hooked.
thank you for your update
