Editors! We need to summon bunch of editors! It's still not too late, we can definitely improve this in the early stage! Hurry hurry.. get all the magicians ready!
I will check if this novel is worth it, tho I'm not expecting much tbh lol
I recommend this novel because: 1- It is short, however there are no repeated cliche misunderstandings, small romantic encounters,....etc and while it is short it doesnt lack character depth at all, in fact it has much more depth in it than most romantic novels that are way longer 2- No stereotypical overbearing, domineering, cold male " God" who is used to having everything his way, and the female lead not loving ML but being forced somehow to interact with him or to be in relationship with him and being submissive towards him and finally falling in love with him because how cant u fall in love with an obsessive possessive man who treats u like a possession? lol. Honestly I am glad I read this novel, because while it may be short it is much better than reading 100 other tall novels all with same ML and FL and plot just with different names 3- this novel is sweet and heartwarming but it isnt a brainless sweet short novel
Awesome novel, I liked it a lot, would recommend :)
I’m kinda upset with the constant change in translators because each one has their own take on how things should be translated. Luckily it’s not too extreme and still understandable it’s just annoying having so many different translators. I’m only 190 chapters in and there’s already been like 4 of them.
His Protagonist-IQ-Lowering-Halo is a bit strong in this one... Everywhere he goes, there's always one or two people who mock or find some troubles for mc with no actual fucking reason
The author can't wrote dialogues to save his life. The dialogue sounds cardboard and cringe af.
Author, I just thank you for writing this webnovel… it’s a true gem
You will like this novel if you enjoy reading slice of life/ Martial Arts/ Romance. A novel that would bring bittersweet memories of your first relationship.
1 like = 1 prayer for the translation to resume
I rather enjoy this story. Its more of a slow burn in terms of pacing, which can understandably be a bit frustrating. I'm actually not a super big fan of the actiony bits where Ves gets personally involved, but I understand their importance within the context of the story. I started reading this story because I was looking for something a bit more relaxed compared to the normal fare that I read.
The MC often has many conflicting goals so it often feels like he's dragging his feet a bit, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. I don't believe its ever been stated that Ves is a super driven person, so bouts of procrastination aren't uncommon and serve to make him seem more realistic. I don't think said dragging of feet has ever been particularly egregious, but at the same time I binged 350+ of the chapters at once so my perspective may be a bit skewed as a result.
Since I've caught up to the most recent chapters, the story's been updating at a pace of two per day, so I think the updating pace is pretty stable.
I think the supporting cast is fine, but the story is definitely very focused on Ves himself. We know the names of other characters and a bit of their backstories/motivations, but we don't go super in depth about them. I would say this is an area that could be improved upon, but not something that really detracts from the overall quality of the story itself.
As for the World Background, we've been given glimpses into the universe as a whole outside of the small bubble the story's been primarily focused on. As a result, we know there is a greater universe with other planets/characters/aliens out there waiting to be explored.
From my recollection, I don't believe there's been too many lore dumps. As things become relevant, Ves (and we as readers) learn more about them, but never really to a truly overwhelming extent.
All in all, I think this is a fun story that's trying to be a bit different from the normal fare on this site. From that context, I believe the story I've given is fair. There's room for improvement, but nothing that detracts significantly from its overall quality. I think if you enjoy Superstars of Tomorrow this will be something you might enjoy as well.
This novel started off very good where the MC was part of a city where everyone got teleported to a new world and they had to survive altogether. The city ultimately got overrun but MC went back in time and received an ability to upgrade himself through contribution points from changing the future. But then, two major flaws appeared as the chapter count got higher.
1) Instead of focusing on growing stronger, the author decided to go all investigation of this and that, causing the novel to move sideways. Writing filler arcs are fine, but it's not fine when it goes on for 50 chapters.
2) The author keeps throwing wikipedia info dumps whenever he/she can. Like our MC would slice apart a bus to throw the metal at monsters. But before he actually throws, there would be a paragraph on how the bus was made and what type of materials were used. And this happens constantly and becomes annoying as the story progresses.
Those two things completely lowered the quality of this novel but I still recommend a try.
Author here.
This isn't a review post but rather an appreciation post.
I want to thank all the readers for giving this book a chance, but I can promise you that it only gets better.
So stick around, let's enjoy this ride together.
