This is updated everyday btw. There’s newer chapters not released here.
Deep sea embers, Lord of the mysteries, and Embers ad infinitum, in the mystery aspect. As for romance there isn't any.
I don't know if I can drop the name of another site otherwise I am at risk of getting a warning or ban... Its a novel site and it has something to do with fire idk I just don't want to get banned ?
Spectral Soul Is from Reverend Insanity and Gu Changge is from I am the fated villain
Seeing that the latest chapter is titled “The End”, I’ll assume this novel got Completed (even though it says Ongoing). Time to dive in!
I already did ??♂️
I wonder why it is on the lower rank? I think it's really good though? It's and romantic at the same time, it's good.
Im crying 100 chapters in and there is no decent plot line. Its all slice of life stories between the Guy, his Summoner, and friends. I came in because of the Kingdom Building tag but so far its all School Arc type of plot. There isnt even a major anti-protaginist or some enemy.
Most of the time its all cringe stories and some Otaku-related talks. It's like Im reading a Japanese Light Novel. Female MC doesnt even have a decent growth and still stays timid and shy girl. The MC even acts too conservative like a overprotective father to the female MC. Honestly, I was expecting something grand but probably this is the intent of the author.
Its not that bad if your into comedy and slice of life stories. But if your into something like a grand plotline from zero to hero, then dont expect anything in this novel. I will still continue reading this in hopes that the plot would get interesting.
I fell in love with the characters in this novel, especially (Nameless ni). This novel made me laugh a lot. If anyone wants to start this, I recommend it. Good humor and lovely characters.
The narrative is entertaining, but it relies on a weak foundation. When the main character (MC) gains prominence in Hollywood and starts attributing the accomplishments of real-life celebrities to "great Korean culture and national pride" without putting in any effort, despite having a cheat, it becomes a familiar trope often found in Chinese web novels. The idea of using plagiarism and theft for the sake of national pride seems borrowed from these sources. While I can accept an MC with supernatural abilities in a fictional world, it would be more engaging if the author showed some originality and allowed the character to engage in genuine efforts, rather than solely resorting to stealing and copying others' work.
This story has indeed been quite the rollercoaster ride. On the whole, it's been an exceptional experience. There are, of course, some imperfections, but they don't overshadow the captivating elements. The unlimited flow narrative with Danmei elements, combined with the intense enemies-to-lovers dynamic, keeps things thrilling. While the main character, ML, is portrayed as a villain, he's not a conventional hero; he's a menacing figure with a touch of sadism, which adds to the story's appeal. The slow-burning development of their relationship is highly satisfying, even if the romantic aspect could have been more fleshed out at times.
The protagonist, Zong Jiu, is a complex character that wins readers over with his likability. Despite his antisocial behavior and cold demeanor, his sense of responsibility sets him apart. Even someone like me, who often loses interest in stories, found myself deeply engaged, thanks to the well-developed arcs and supporting characters. The emotional impact, including moments of sadness for character fates, was genuine.
The first kiss scene between ML and MC had me emotionally invested, and overall, the story is fantastic. I would rate it 4.7/4.6, only slightly downgrading due to a perceived dip in quality after the school arc, and my tendency to be critical. But in my heart, it's a 5-star read, and I'm sure many others would agree. I wholeheartedly love Zong Jiu, and "S Magician" has earned its place in my favorites list.
The characters, despite occasional flaws, carried the story through. Even though the romance felt rushed and the quality wavered after a certain point, the final arcs, particularly the one with the baby devil, were still enjoyable. I would definitely recommend "Thriller Trainee" - it was good enough to motivate me to create an account. Take my recommendation with a pinch of salt, but it's a story worth giving a chance.
