Michael, with a mixture of anger and desperation, spoke to Elena Lubov, his voice tinged with disbelief. "Elena, you seem to have overlooked the grave situation you've put yourself in. Are you truly honest in saying that even if I were to slit your throat right now, you could still love me?" As he slowly pressed the knife against her skin, drawing a small bead of blood, their unwavering eyes met.
In a fearless reply, she offered, "If it convinces you of my sincerity, Michael, I'll prove it by cutting my own throat. I have nothing left to lose."
The powerful mafia boss, now questioning his reality, grappled with the possibility that his entire past was a fabrication. How could he prevent the unraveling of his carefully constructed world, when power and wealth no longer held any meaning?
With the weight of the unknown on his shoulders, he wondered: In a world where these tools were rendered powerless, what significance could the words of the deceased hold for those left behind?
I fell in love with the characters in this novel, especially (Nameless ni). This novel made me laugh a lot. If anyone wants to start this, I recommend it. Good humor and lovely characters.
