in start it was good but, after ch 60 it became the same as any trash cliche Chinese novel, so i'm dropping i was simply expecting too much.................
I've been reading this book for a while now, and it's amazing! although my words can't do this work of art justice I'll try my best: The characters feel so real and the author does an amazing job in making all of the magical laws make sense. when the protagonist becomes more powerful it isn't in some vague way that he is suddenly "stronger" but he gains some new thing through hard work. it makes the story that much more impressive because it feels like he is just describing how another world works rather than some make belive thing!
Shadow Slave is by far the best Light novel you will find on the Internet. If you are looking to fully immerse yourself into a story this is the one for you.
The world building, character development, power system, villans, and plot are all each the best I have seen and I couldn’t get enough of it. As someone who has read close to 1000 different light novels, most seam like garbage to me now and I will forever feel like somthing is missing in them as I compare them to this novel.
I will not spoil anything and sincerely hope that you pick this novel up and read it and watch as all the puzzle pieces fall together as the story goes on. I hope you read and find yourself asking questions about the story and predict what may happen only to be right or often completely thrown off just as I was.
This was an incredibly enjoyable story and the only one I have ever found myself being willing to pay the author to keep it going, along with downloading this app to write the review.

I love this novel. . Although this is my first time reading this type of novel but I read it alll straight from chapter 1 till 40 and become new fan for this novel . . The mc characters and abilities is so amazing and well-created. . The storyline is also good and out of box. I would recommend for everyone to read this novel . . Read Read Read! This novel has a trash stupid idiot mc. he was like a beggar one day before, then earn some money and waste almost all of it on a random hostile wild puss.y to treat her in a human hospital. yap, people here puss.y means cat. and he didn't even ask where the animal hospital is. although it would be much cheaper.

The interesting thing here is the cheat power. Notably, one 'simplification' allows the MC to consume hot water instead of qi to cultivate a technique, which, wow, that's pretty cool. The worldbuilding is decent, and the novel is amusing.
it's too much bland in the sense characters,story,world background and the stage is almost always wrong which makes more confusing than it was already.
Even if it was cliche i wouldn't have mind but it's like written in the form of summary of cliches story.
And the mc doesn't even feel interesting, you can literally go at him for the kill but he won't kill only break your sword.. And also the cringe justice talk which makes no sense.
I like this story, one of my favourites.
