How often are updates???
**Author** HOW could you skip what happened after Camille's dad died. Nothing about Gal's son or ex-wife? Please don't rush this story because you write really well until the mix-up. There are too many things missing from. the story is causing confusion and making the story no longer interesting.
ok good, lets continue
Hello there, I'm a translator (proofreader) stepping in. Seeing the unexpectedly positive reception of this novel, I thought I'd share my thoughts. My apologies for any errors; English isn't my first language.
To begin, the protagonist might come across as cliché at first, declaring, "I'll stick to the story," but by chapter two, their conscience drives them to deviate from that path. The characters are likable, with strong bonds – they trust each other's lives, and witnessing their teamwork and resilience against seemingly insurmountable challenges is heartwarming.
Ella, our protagonist, explains the baffling world mechanics as mere game rules. But a spoiler alert: as the story progresses, Ella discovers hidden reasons behind everything, revealing a bigger picture.
The protagonist's journey is intriguing, as they grapple with their identity, creating a sense of uncertainty and危机感. Their character development is a highlight. In summary, this is one of my favorites, and I don't wish to spoil too much. Enjoy!
The initial chapters held my attention, but as the story progressed, I found myself losing enthusiasm. The plot twists and character developments became challenging to follow, leaving my brain exhausted trying to decipher their motivations and actions.
The main character, MC, started off promisingly as a cheerful and resourceful individual. However, his character arc took a disappointing turn once he became involved with the love interest, ML. He transformed into a weak, overly-sensitive, and impractical character, reminiscent of clichéd shoujo tropes. It seemed as if he was meant to be a replacement for the female lead, FL, rather than a compelling protagonist.
Despite his charming exterior, the supporting cast and even the female heroines blindly adored him, seemingly oblivious to his lack of growth or intelligence. Even the heroine herself acknowledged that the pampered MC seemed like a more idealized Mary Sue character compared to her own strengths.
The forced acceptance of the secret contract between ML and his friends, driven by MC's paranoia, further contributed to the story's unrealistic elements. It added another layer of confusion to the plot.
Almost every character in this narrative falls short in terms of intelligence and common sense, which was quite disheartening. My primary reason for reading was the excellent translation, and I must commend the translator for their skill.
In summary, if you're seeking a lighthearted harem tale with a damsel-in-distress protagonist and a cast lacking depth, this might be the book for you. Despite my critical tone, I must acknowledge the translator's exceptional work, so do show them some appreciation.
At first, I had doubts about the narrative, but as I delved deeper, I was impressed by the intricate world-building – it's something I truly appreciate. The translation is top-notch; the translator deserves praise for their skill. Moreover, the strategic elements the protagonist employs, if given a bit of patient attention, are captivating.
In summary, I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to those who can tolerate the slower pace of world-building and information-rich passages. It's a rewarding read for those willing to invest the time.
At some point in writing this the author might be high as the ceiling.
ahhhhh morreeeeee...
no ecstasy for this rock then...
maybe on W+bnovel?
I recommend. It's not as much horror as it is creepy. But the plot is amazing. The chemistry between the mc and ml is beautiful and so is the art in the manhwa. Though this is a slow-burn, it's worth it in the end!
5-6 months ago, the cloud server hosting this website got attacked. Some websites (like ours) got affected by it and lost a lot of progress. The admin ended up having to restore all accounts to the states they were 10 months prior (16 months ago from today).
Everyone collectively calls this the “purge”
