"Genie," he whispered softly, his warm breath caressing my ear. "This is terribly wrong, we simply cannot continue." Despite his words, his lips found mine again, gently tracing my lower lip with his tongue. "Terribly wrong," he murmured, nibbling playfully. I tried to suppress a moan, feeling an intense desire growing within. "I understand," I replied, my voice strained. The sensation between my legs was almost unbearable, a reminder of the forbidden nature of our actions. "We shouldn't, you're my stepbrother." Yet, my body yearned for his touch, and I leaned closer, craving the heat of his bare skin. The memory of his passionate吻 fueled my longing, making it difficult to resist. "Take me, Ryder," I confessed, my need evident. Those three simple words seemed to ignite a fire within him. With a sudden movement, he lifted me, allowing my legs to wrap around him. He pressed me against the wall, locking eyes with me. "You belong to me," he declared, his lips descending upon mine once more. In my heart, I silently echoed, "I am yours." For years, Ryder Saint had tormented me without rhyme or reason. His torment seemed predestined, his malicious intentions adding my name to his list without explanation. Despite his surname, which often served as a deceptive facade, everything about him exuded darkness – his heart, soul, and even his aura. Yet, there was one aspect that remained captivating, despite his wicked ways. My parents' decision to unite our families, making him my stepbrother, complicated matters. I should have continued to ignore him, as I had always done. However, living under the same roof, the line between brotherly distance and forbidden attraction blurred, making it increasingly hard to resist.

I'm loving this novel, it's a journey and you can't read it without paying attention. I'm seeing a lot of reviews of people saying it became generic just because it focus only on the MC and everything revolves around him, but that's exactly the point.
We're not reading about humanity conquering aliens, that is not it. The entire novel premise is about how f*ck*d humanity is if they don't have the MC.
Many say that it became boring but that's because there's no "I need to hide my powers and abilities to not raise suspicions" the MC is the strongest within his league and he shows it.
Overall, it's a good novel and I recommend it
