The only thing I think it's lacking right now is the mc is not very scheming, ruthless and cunning i mean if someone comes back from their death and get a second chance they still being pure is very low. I am not comparing here but I think you can take some hints from the novel "Conquering the Novel" by "Enigma0" and then it will be one of the best novel.
I like the story. The more you read, the more you'll get interested. MC And FMC has a whole different backgrounds. It's not like regular novel or something. It's quite unique.
This is a story review not a translation one. The translation is fine. For me its very boring, its also very confusing and jun** from one place to the next and ot has alot of info dumps. Theres also a lot of side character talk so if you like that good for you. The MC is a basic goodie to shoes caracter who is smart (when he appears of course half of the chapters are without him, i think side characters have had more screen time than the mc has) I would not call this movel dark only real. It has some dark sides but it is nothing compared to actual dark storys, theres also alot of how to be a good king and what being a good king means, but its just a bunch of bull**** comig frome someone who knows jack ****.
Having written over 100k+ words, I can tell you that this novel is kinda slow paced. You might feel like things are happening randomly at that point.
The pace does go up a bit after around 50 chapters but it's kinda slow before that. Anyways, have fun reading!

Mc has no motive to do anything, making it hard to invest in the story or conflict. Mc would rather be sleeping. systems with personalities are double-edged swords. If done right, it can enhance if wrong it can hurt,but the system can't be the only driving force of the Mc growth.

pretty good novel, harem buildup is pretty good till ch 280~ Mc is b3coming stronger relatively faster then others if u think as, all the girls around him have been training since they were children. Main revenge as a whole is still a long ways. But it is going there. Hopefully he goes through with it. Rarely any novel ever does that. it be a nice change in reincarnation hero story.I would recommend everyone who likes harem and characters with actual personality who grow, this is a good one.
I don't really hate this story, but let's be honest. The writing is at the level of a 12-year-old kid who decided to write a story of his own. In fact, I bet that many 12-year-olds would do a better job.
The beginning and the premise are completely copied from a Korean novel with a similar name. The main character is one-dimensional while the side characters are ZERO-dimensional. This story and system are so simple that even someone with a 70 IQ would understand it easily. There are plot holes starting from the first chapter. There the MC said something like "I hope that I'll awaken a useful ability"... But in fact, in this world, there are no abilities to awaken, lol. If you aren't facepalming at most of his decisions then let me congratulate you - you've passed this IQ test with 80 points! Yay!
So why is this popular? I think that this story, Vampire System, and Cultivation Online show you what you need to succeed at Webnovel. Op protagonist, a fast pace so that he could show off how OP he is, fast release rate so that people could get addicted to your story. That's it. Other people waste their words by trying to write a story that makes sense, the only one who managed to get to the top with such an approach is the author of Supreme Magus.
this novel is one of the newer ones but it has so much more potential to be a great novel. i especially like the steady plotline. thx for the chapters
