"Brother, will you lie to me?" "If Brother lies to me, can I punish Brother?" I am not okay with how good the dialogue writing is in this novel. Every character has such a distinct voice and the conversations feel natural while also being loaded with subtext. Shu Xian's internal monologue is comedy gold — "Serves him right!" and "Boo hoo, 006, I'm scared. I want to report a workplace injury." These lines had me literally laughing out loud on the subway. But Li Wu's dialogue is where it gets interesting. He says the sweetest things with the most unsettling delivery. "If Brother doesn't lie to me, I won't be angry." Said while toy-ing with Shu Xian's hand that's covering his eyes. One second he's being adorable, the next he's basically threatening him and it's seamless. The author never lets you forget that this kid is dangerous. Jian Fang's dialogue is perfectly calibrated too. He's trying to maintain his cool celebrity persona while clearly flustered by Shu Xian's sincerity. "Little fans really were easy to satisfy." But then Shu Xian looks at him with such genuine admiration that even Jian Fang gets embarrassed. The back-and-forth between them feels like real celebrity-fan interaction but with underlying romantic tension that neither of them are fully aware of. And the system 006? "Did a genderless robot even understand beauty?" The narrator's voice is so punchy and modern. It doesn't take itself seriously and that's exactly why it works. The author knows how to make dialogue carry both humor and plot simultaneously.
The chapter title itself gives it away: "Life and Death Are Fated, Wealth and Honor Are in Heaven." But the whole narrative seems to be dismantling this idea. Yan Wuxin REFUSES to accept fate. She came back to Yan Jia not because she was destined to, but because she CHOSE to. She refined poison pills herself instead of begging for help. She walked into Duanhun Shan without a Teleportation Array because she doesn't need one — her will is her armor. The Wannian Shilian operates as this powerful symbol throughout. It's not just a plot MacGuffin; it represents everything Yan Wuxin is willing to risk for. Power? Revenge? Redemption? The text never fully reveals what it does, and that ambiguity is intentional — it's the void that pulls her forward, the question mark at the end of every sentence in her life. Even the Phantom Beast scene is symbolic. The Fourth Prince tries to use her as a pawn, to let fate decide her fate. But she SEIZES agency — throwing needles, drawing the beast away, protecting Shangguan Ruoyu when no one else would. The beast represents the chaos of the world, and Yan Wuxin doesn't run from it. She faces it. The recurring motif of legs and standing is also significant. Yan Wuhan can't walk. Yan Wuxin promises to restore him. But metaphorically, everyone in this story is trying to stand — the concubine-born daughter, the crippled brother, the discarded disciple. They're all fighting for the right to be seen as worthy.
i don't know what fuck is happening, MC is an extra, did he reincarnate or transmigrate? there's no background of the MC nothing , this story is poorly written
Peak brainrott fiction can't wait for next chapters :3 the characters are literally perfect like perfect no character development and the way of story telling is also peak can't describe in human words
Hello guys author hereI just want to remind any new readers that this is not a wuxia novel at all, and the power system is definitely quite interesting and the fact that mc's power system is entirely different is what makes this story good.
This is more of a question than a review (currently in CH10) why would you return the limiting human aspects when the story was just getting good? In no novel ever has emotions ever led to good plot. Decisions become reckless for lack of a better word. Why not just proceed with the plant based evolution? How did Sumi jump from wanting to enjoy her time to looking for more work(burdens) It's quite frustrating finding a good read then you take us(me) back to the common tropes
What I have read so far, so good. The story seems to go somewhere and the intrigue is well built at the beginning. And the prose is amazing. The writer is managing to build up an amazing sense of being there.I will continue reading and say my opinion once I feel like updating my review. But so far, is good.

Good job author setting the world with good premise. I like the mystery and twist on going back in time aspect, skills and the world looks interesting as well. Grammar is definitely good and prose is easily digestible??
I love the story idea and how the power system revolves around the trees and their lifeblood. Will surely add to coll, look forward to more chps!
I will wait for more chapters , author your better not stop now.
I believe Ive only skimmed over nine chapters so far.. and I’ve seen enough to give this work a full 5 star review.. sad what I have been reading recently.. so many terrible works get so many views and power stones.. while works that of actual interest barely get any attention.. keep the updates coming.. I will continue to read on the rest of what you have uploaded so far! Good job!
