i never thought of writing a review here nor did give one before
but this novel deserves one.
first of all the novel is amazing it refreshing to read. it's not like other novel where the MC would get skills and be super strong, here it's a bit different it's neither a OP one nor a sloppy one, it's the best for that situation. And the other thing i liked in this novel was romance even tho it's not much but i like those sweet moments. Even tho there are few bugs coming in between their relationship both MC and FMC are swatting those bugs away and
i do hope that author won't make any changes to their relationship especially cheating, NTR, etc it would be worst.

The quality of the novel is good. I especially like the character of the main character. I especially like the main characters Nie Yan that he fought what he lost in his previous life and that he didn't change the quality drastically as he reached the so-called peak of life Who doesn't like the harem genre or how there are a lot of ambiguous relationships in a novel, and there is only one specific romantic relationship, then this novel is for you
Bad.
MC is supposed to be an accomplished scientist, his age should be around 30-40. Yet he behaves like a child, talks like a child, and think like a child.
The addition of an A.I. system is terrible. He is a scientist, his job is to figure **** out.
He could have examined/researched cultivation in a modern mans perspective, is it physical? Magical? Why are there so many variations? Is there a common denominator between all cultivation techniques? Why can the same energy produce different colors and shapes based on cognition? Whats up with all this dao comprehension profound bull****, why dont they make it specific with proper explanations?
The author threw all of that potential and just slapped an A.I. to MC.
*sigh.
MCs background should be re-written. "Stupid NEET gets killed by TRUCK-san, wakes up in a cultivation world with super A.I. to do all the work for him."
This is great.
The writing and plot development leaves much to be desired, having a open background lets you add characters and elements into the story anywhere you want to but it's a bad habit to make.
You need to foreshadow and plan more how things can go, stacking events and descriptors one on top of the other does not a story make, that's just bad writing.
Even as a comedy you tend to lean towards the more serious side whenever a harsh topic comes up. It's too careless to just change the tone, you have to break the tense atmosphere properly before running with a joke.
At times, you corral your character's personality into single sentence or single word statements. If this was purely comedy it's fine but when you mix drama you need to avoid pigeon-holing your characters to stereotypes. This makes them less a person and more like a set piece used to work the scene.
You rely too much on light novel tropes who also rely too much on anime tropes. If you're good it works, but like most light novel authors you don't quite realize certain gags work better visually than on text.
You should read more wholesome literary comedies or watch more British humor to balance your slapstick with punny wit.
