How was it. The high rating caught my eye but the story doesn't seem to appealing from the outside.
i recommend you read from the start, because the manhwa didin't got a LOT of things from the novel
*SPOILER*
just like the dance with lukas in athy's debut, they didin't got into the manhwa
He did sing, but only for a few times. It's not that he's tone-deaf, it's just that his voice is only normal so he doesn't really like singing coz aside from it not delivering his desired pitch, he also disliked for it to be compared w/other ppl's voice coz he knows he will be criticized for it.
Don't mind me. I'm only hear to experience a romance which probably I'll never have.
??? new favorite line now ???
Can somebody tell me about the "naive protagonist" tag?? like how naive is he and how it affects the story.
Is this place still alive??
**No spoilers**
Important part first, if you can get passed the rough outline of the ending it really is a good book and is still worth a read.
Love the story and the concept, could tell he really had a good idea of where he wanted to go with it and enjoyed writing it. My only gripe is the ending, you can tell that he ran out of juice and it didnt seem like he was enjoying the process anymore. I really hope he comes back and rewites the ending at some point. The beauty of a web novel is it can awlays be changed and updated.
The ending clearly shows how he wanted it to end it, and it has a solid structure. But it does feel like it was rushed a bit. That being said it really just needs a polish. I plan on rereading it again, and I really do hope that someday he revisits this book to give it the ending it deserves.
Other than the reasons by the other comment, there is also the matter of sovereignty. In a single country divided into provinces, there is the King at the top and dukes serving each province, beginning the nobility hierarchy from there on, and the other comment applies. But consider an empire which has conquered different countries - some countries surrender without a war, and the existing king becomes a puppet sovereign with perhaps a duke as an ambassador, but in cases there is a war, the losing king and his family are ousted and most probably executed. Then the land may be given to a Duke to handle, making him effectively a king to that old nation - in such cases, at least for that country, he is royalty and therefore his children will be referred as prince/princess.
