just read the first 20 chapters. I don't like how he starts off with the most powerful weapons in the world. The story is progressing too fast with almost no character development. story is very bland and somewhat unoriginal. would not recommend.
I say it's a good novel because of the author's tenacity to see the novel through and backed by quiteadequate skills. However, the same as most of the concerns in the review section, the MCs have inconcistent character designs. It just feels weird how they seem to be bendable to the view of the current time. Like apart from their modern knowledge, they don't reflect any modern behaviours or ideologies from our society. They feel as if a character from the 19th century suddenly receiving engineering knowledges rather than someone from the modern society that tranmigrated to the 19th century. And this defect in their designs shows how they have weak views or will coming form the modern era when they became massive simps for Carolone and Amelia. Even if Amelia wasn't a spy to their comapny or Caroline is a reincarnated individual, bruh you can't be that naive of accepting Amelia to your company when both you(MCs) and Caroline are trying to create legacies that both you only have. They don't have the sense of wariness one would expect from someone coming from the modern era who have seen it all.

Ngl, I see beast companions, I click. The internet café system is also good. Both sound like a fun read. So please, tell me why, did they release the voting options on Friday???? Now Great Doctor Ling Ran is bound to win, and I'd have to wait another week for the café system or this novel.... Not that the doctor novel doesn't sound good! I look forward to reading it! But... Seriously, staff? Wait until Friday to move them out? :( Now I'm splitting my votes between the café and this novel...
I liked the historical power system and how the MC plays his advantage of a transmigrated historian/archeologist from the origial Earth. The characters are likable and honestly the whole mystery looming on the cult and doomsday arc is exciting.
However due to the poor translation, it became really annoying to read this one. At first i overlooked it hoping that it just a temporary thing, but later on it got worst and it became taxing to keep up with the story. Just the gender of the pronouns were left as female for all character and the unmarked dialog makes youe veins pop.
First of all this novel is good, most reviews are just focusing on the translation quality which is also judged unfairly. I mean using pinyins is not so bad, most readers here aren't even native english speakers and don't know every word, so when the translatator uses around 15 words without translating them where is the big problem? Fucking memorise them! Some idiot says it is unbearable to read, wtf it is not more than 20 words, which are properly explained. And the translation quality is much better than most novels here, also the updates are mostly constant even though the frequency is low.
Anyway as far as the story goes it has many similarities to AWE, the protagonist is shameless and the plot is funny. The bandit past of the protagonist is refreshing and there is nothing really missing of this story(always talking about a wuxia setup). The world building seems promising but it is quite early to know how it will develop.
All in all this novel deserves more attention, ofc i know it is tough to find the good stories in this site, here all have good scores, in novelupdates unfairly bad and the synopsis are terrible most times.

Really an amazing story. Its what you expect of a reencarnation/videogame novel but it has its unique strong points. For starters, his actions do not change the history of the game(yet, they probably will), but it is the AI he programmed that fills the gaps and makes the world different from ehat he programmed. Characters so far are solid and the world, as far as we've seen, is well thought and built. MC is real funny sometimes, which affs to his charm. Author is not a native english speaker, so he sometimes makes grammar or spelling mistakes, but it is nothing too obvious and I dare say his writing quality and syntax is better than most english speakers. As for updates stability, he is commited and usually updates once a day, but he sometimes takes breaks that are a bit too long. Anyway, overall I would give a 4.5, but since I like this story so much I decided on five. Really a good read. Highly recommended.
A very good mix of dark and cute/fluffiness which gives you all the things you want. There is a little bit of everything and the characters are relatable. Overall a great read and I can't wait to see more as there is so much to learn about the world.
