As his forging and tempering progresses, he actually gets younger and stronger. Since the protagonist is an older male, there isn't any romance (as of yet). such a confusing storyline. plot points are added then dropped so fast I question what I'm reading. the pacing of the whole story is just weird. Sometimes being fast sometimes being incredibly slow.
