Invayne always makes novels that go above and beyond but this one is just so creative and well put together that im loving it
Im not an expert critic but if this is the work of a beginner then
A truly amazing book. I love books that are about war, swords and fighting just do something for me. I've never read a book where I've felt so involved with the characters! You root for them and consistently want to get back to their story. I only hope that the writing stays consistent.
I will get to each reason why and will update frequently maybe every fifty chapters
1:Writing quality- most is great writing quality the only issue is the lack of description and depth to the world and story which correlates to two other, there is also the fact that it doesn’t explain a lot about time, so it gets confusing, that’s why it got a three
2:Updating Stability- pretty standard not to the point where I can read a new chapter everyday but I can understand so I still gave it a 4 star
3:Story Developement- the story goes fast paced which doesn’t allow me personally to get a sense of depth with the characters and it kind of goes too fast with the affinities and gaining of abilities, that’s why I gave it a 3 star
4:Character design- we don’t really don’t get any defining features of the character like body build background or history so it makes it hard to envision it which is why it got a 2 star
5:World Background- we don’t get a lot of explanation about the world and what it looks like and we have no history of anything like families of the characters or anything like that so in my opinion that’ s why I gave it a 2 star
I thank you for reading my review and don’t let it keep you from reading the story because the concept is great this is only here for the author to better his book, have a great day this will be updated when we reach 50 chapters so look forward to it

ANYWAY WHAT MEANING 140?
Good
It's been a while since I've seen a trial novel that does a good job with a cliche plot. This one is a surprisingly good read.
Fucking finally it gets selected. Praise be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Legit one of my all-time favorite novels. Overlord vibes with a real expert instead. MC loves to act like a stereotypical xianxia god cultivator and I love it. The author has also set up the world for the story to reach a decent length. The only complaint might be a lack of romance, but that's kinda personal.
It's got good main characters, but I think it suffers too much from the intentional "evil world" design.
What I mean is that everyone everywhere are just greedy monsters who strive for power and kill millions of others for shits and giggles.
Also most if not all characters somewhat relevant to the story all build their power in some way by using randoms as food for their cultivation.
This creates a problem in my opinion since the "MC faction" can't really have greedy power hungry mindless villains as friends, but instead needs to find "unique" people or simply mind-control subordinates.
This in turn creates a problem where everyone is mindless and the story predictable except for when the main crew does something smart.
Another problem I have is the use of ridiculously excessive numbers such as billions, trillions etc. They are numbers too big for a human mind to even understand the implications of. It's common to use in Xianxia for some reason, but I find it annoying to read as the implication of "billion" becomes a "trivial" thing to the story, making it seem not special whatsoever. Using 10 thousand instead would be a number one could picture in their head and still seem very impressive.
"Slaughtering a trillion people in an instant" > ...Uhh okay?
"Slaughtering a city of 10 thousand people in just a few hours" > You pretty much see the bloodbath taking place.
The story isn't bad though, and DPs writing quality is good, as it was in his other works.

At first I thought this novel was going to be a cliche-breaker. For the first time ever I had though we - the audience - will be reading a story from the perspective of a character who is usually the mini-antagonist (2nd generation wealthy heir template) but as the story progresses the MC slowly but surely reveals himself as typical Korean hero template 101.
Why even bother to integrate the mafia aspect when it plays absolutely no role at all. The synopsis hinted at greatness; the story failed to deliver.
