Normally, I would not be so invested in this story because it has all the cliches and overused themes a typical Chinese novel has.
But it is charming and addictive in its own way. You would not find yourself bored with the story, as it has enticing points that satisfies you in some manner. Though do get ready for a lot of face-slapping, as this story has a lot of that.

Everything fine but the characters and the stories development along with consistency in its narratives. The author ignores past statements and sometimes make things harder or easier on mc by ignoring past statements, abilities, and passive effects along with many others.
The writing quality is fine but to people like me I would advise to ignore this novel, the inconsistency gets really annoying.
Tbh, I don’t even know how I read all the current chapters, I’d usually would have drop something like this first 2-5 chapters... must be because of how rare Vr original novels are..
thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
The novel is basically a direct copy of Jay Aslan: Journey to the Top. The setting and plot was copied, commiting copyright infringement. It is a lower quality version of it too. Chapters (at least time of reading) were not edited that great (baddish grammar). With chapters being pretty short too, and so far it is just (essentially sameish) developmemt skipping the details in the original, I gave up on continuing reading. I like that some1 is contuing the saga os Elawn, but u need to at least make it fan fic or change a lotbof stuff, case u r stealing property and can get in a lot of trouble. Don't sign a contract either if stuff isnt changed, since I wouldnt be surprised if they take huge advantage down the road like debt+fines, at least credit the novel btw..
The f man, i was expecting a good fanfic atleast and the hell is this??!! Its like your just copying the originals and just edit a few things while not affecting how things would go
A very good story with interesting twists and not completely predictable story. Also, mc is quite intelligent and not some stupid 'hero' type character. Please don't make mc into an idiot in the future, make him pragmatic/ruthless when necessary.
Right of the bat i wished that the stoy would be picked by another translator considering the hiaitus in regards to its new chapter releases.
The story itself is simple enough as its about a guy from a science-centric world being transmigrated into a cultivation world.
he has no special cheat ability to speak of and only equipped with knowledge of pop culture reference and the craftiness of a shrewd ***** jaded by what modern life brought.
The world building itself is not concertrate on its lore and mysticm but more on the interaction of lu ming with his surrounding which is more reactive than passive.
Character design wise , the mc does get the enough growth to stay ahead but not enough to make it distasteful. they are a lit of recurring characters which are given ample development but the antagonist tend to be short-lived since they’re no recurring ones to date
A new novel - Eastern fantasy. There are pluses, there are minuses. This is an honest review.
The quality of the text block, you can give 5 stars, is easy to read, almost everything is clear. Interestingly written, even fascinating.
Updates are ongoing, 2-3 chapters sometimes. If the author manages to maintain this pace for 2-3 months, then he deserves praise. While he succeeds. Bravo! 5 stars.
The development of history - is dynamic, but sometimes there are jumps from one topic to another IMHO of course, 5 stars
But the character’s character is not clearly spelled out, it is not clear what his character traits, what emotions, who he is at all, what kind of person he is, what he lives with? 4 stars.
The world - it is not described in detail, at first you can’t understand where the actions take place, in what time, era, how this world looks like? What is special about it? But, somewhere in the middle of the 15-20th chapter, the world is partially clarified, simply by pointing to oriental fiction. Such worlds have already been described in a dozen novels of a similar genre. Therefore, also 3 stars.
Plus the novel, reading it is fascinating, sometimes intriguing, although sometimes reading the beginning, the end can be predicted.
The quality of writing is good. There are some original points, finds.
Cons - The novel is replete with cliches inherent in the stories of this genre. Originality, thoughts are not always shown, there are compilation of plots.
In general, I liked the novel, I read it regularly, included it in my library. If you have nothing to read, and you like the genre of oriental fiction, not too fans, then a very good novel to read.
Thanks to the author for his work! Much has been written, and with a good text block, updates are regular without interruptions, it costs a lot. Really cool!
respectfully
Shameless Review by the Author here. Obviously this is the best writing i've ever written top quality stuff here. It's incredible. I said we were going to do this. A lot of people don't know this. When you look at it. Devil's. It's amazing. Trust me. Trust me. You know what I call it? Nobody has done the job we've done. They won't tell you that. You know what I call it? It is incredible.
The story starts well especially the bullying part. I like how the hero even though malnourished still put up a fight and year he even better the shit out of the bully. He only lost because bully friends attacked. This nice win me heart. The new chapter is amazing too. Especially the ability of time!
I give you my support here, the start is really interesting and well written, keep going it's a good work you are doing with this story, it has potential and I'm sure that it will improve as it will be released :)
Only way I see this having been picked is due to the ease of translation. Half the novel is word filler of repeated messages about his element points that aren't even different, his whole point of getting strong is for his new fiancée that he gets in chapter 1 yet you don't see her for 10 chapters at a time. I think his fiancée has less screen time than her own father. The love enemy fodder 'Donald' has more screen time than the fiancée despite dying randomly 15 chapters in. He had 1,000 failures towards smithing in a row, yet once he gets the system he hasn't failed without forced interuption. No explanation as to why he suddenly turned into a god smith. System didn't give him any smithing talent. All it did was make him stronger, which mind you, we don't even know the combat system. All we know is that the novel is not good.
