This novel is an exceptional read, not just within the BL genre but universally. It's important to note that it's not for those seeking instant gratification with explicit content; there are indeed 18+ scenes, but the story's focus lies primarily on the plot. The milestones, like the first kiss at the 200th chapter and intimate moments after the 400th, require patience, but the wait is rewarding. The world-building and power system are outstanding.
The narrative is rich with palace intrigue, with well-developed minor characters that unfold throughout the story. Both the main characters, despite occasional appearances of immaturity or questionable actions from the ML, are captivating. Don't judge them hastily; their bond is deep, and the ML's love for the MC is genuine. The MC's character shares some similarities with KRS!Cale, adding depth to the story.
I wholeheartedly recommend this novel; I assure you, the time spent reading it will be thoroughly enjoyed.
I dunno it was early on on here. Around 13 or so, when you start seeing Bilkin and other mistranslations. I hear at 67+ another translator took over, not sure if they fix it on this site and I know this site is fickle if you mention other places for reading.

WTF!! Shit got real really fast... And at the same time stopped making sense too. (The dude literally was taken to the police station, and just when he reached there, there was no one to take him to take him inquiry... NO Sir!! Instead the MC is planning to rain away and guess what while killing a police officer on his way, cuz why not, and it isn't like police will notice a person dying at their own station).. (btw I had only reached CH 11. And sorry can't co tumhe it anymore)

Interesting to read. The beginning was very natural and the story flowed well effortlessly. Reading on, I'm liking the MC more and more. He's doing everything for his family and that's so touching. Good job, author! Your book is amazing.
