I started this knowing it was on hiatus or dropped by the translator, thinking I could get some thrashy, disposable guilty pleasure. In the first 30 chapters, you get introduced to the princess, the "protagonist," the maid, and the future saintess, and the events seemed reasonably distributed. Then, we get 40 chapters of an uninteresting yandere imprisonment arc, with POVs from random characters we don’t care about, and the MC being annoying (both for being clueless and for fighting to save the girl who tortured him for days and planned to do so for life). It’s not even entertaining.
I won't update my progress since I check the page frequently. Big thanks to the translator for your hard work! TL;DR If you don't mind a slow-burn romance, I wholeheartedly recommend this.
I adore this series. It's an intriguing spicy BL novel with a well-paced blend of action and plot. Here are the pros:
1. Engaging plot
2. Well-developed characters
3. Excellent translation
4. A balanced mix of plot and romance, in my opinion
And here are the cons, though they're more personal preferences:
1. Slow burn – might not suit everyone, but I enjoy it
2. Ongoing – still publishing as of March 2024
3. Omegaverse – not everyone likes, but I find it acceptable since it's minimal focus until later on (around 600+ chapters)

Just a speculative theory: I suspect there might be male pregnancy elements in the future, either in the main story or side stories. I'm hoping the author surprises me, but there have been hints. I'd love to see their children develop (╥_╥).
The dynamic between Yuder and Kishiar is captivating, and the romance is gradual. This series leans more towards plot progression than typical romance-focused BL novels, and that's what makes it exceptional! (✿^‿^✿)
I can't add much beyond what others have said, but I definitely stand by my recommendation!
It was an average experience; I almost wish I had given it two stars instead. The story felt both unique and clichéd, with a sluggish pace that dragged on. The romantic aspect was平淡 and confusing – their connection stemmed from past lives where they communicated through emails. While there was mutual support and gratitude, I don't believe it reached the level of true love. The protagonist's feelings for H were inconsistent; initially unsure, she suddenly claimed to have liked him for ten years. Her affection for He Han developed abruptly after discovering his true identity.
It seemed more like a reliance on each other rather than genuine love. The slow build-up of their relationship suddenly accelerated, which didn't resonate with me. In my opinion, it lacked a clear emotional depth or a convincing exploration of love. Maybe it was love, but the narrative didn't convey that effectively. To sum up, the pacing and development of the romance didn't satisfy me.
Aight lemme give you an honest opinion,the novel is smth you wanna read when you're bored.its mostly comedy but if I'm to rate it I'd give it a solid 4.0/5.0

So far the story is quite confusing, i don't think it's only on the matter of translation but more to the how it written originally. Most of all the story flow is unsubtle and again confusing.
But the main plot is quite interesting though mostly I found it unsatisfying. However I still found myself reading it further so I guess it worth to try and read.
It's somewhat similar to Release that witch, but only in beginning of the novel. Story and worldbuilding is excellent.

She prominently features in like 8-10 different chapters, when listening to her once was more than enough. I'm surprised I gave it that many chances to be honest.
