Great novel. much more realistic than other novels. i especially enjoy how unlike other novels this MC cultivation speed which is suppose to be amazingly fast actually leaves friends and family in the dust. no longer some random character or all wife's somehow keep up with him and some even actually have a limit in cultivation that they can no longer surpass and don't all end up at the peak of cultivation. minor things to most but a nice change.
I really enjoyed this story so far. I love the virtual reality genre and hope that this story will continue to be updated. I am looking forward to reading more great content. I also wanted to thank the author for taking the time to write this amazing story and want to say keep up the wonderful work! :D
If excessively arrogant characters who pick fights with little kids is not annoying then this won't bother you... but this is enough to lower my rating (minus 2 stars)
Otherwise there is nothing amazing or terrible just another generic xianxia... I had hoped the mc would elevate the novel... I'm still waiting (hopefully things will change)

Following the tale of Max and Nico had brought me great enjoyment over the last few years. Getting to watch the two grow from young children to great Mecha pilots and then into competent faction leaders has been a wonderful experience. I can enthusiastically and without reservation, recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Sci-fi and especially to those who like Mecha. After all, Giant Robots are a man's true love. The story contains both copius amounts of action and just the right amount of intrigue to satisfy both types of reader. It even contains plenty of science and development style chapters for people who enjoy reading about that. Overall I have yet to find another book on this, or any other, platform that I have read on daily release for more than a full year, like I have for this one, and now that it is complete, no one has to go through the daily suffering that was 2 chapters a day for oh so many days.I am greatly looking forward to Aoki's next book, and can highly recommend all his other works as well. Every single one has high quality writing, fantastic unique characters, great world building, and enough of both intrigue and action to appeal to both types of reader.
I am enjoying reading this book. The story has been quite an emotional rollercoaster for me, and it has been a fascinating journey. The suspense and the consecutive plot twists have kept me on the edge of my seat, and I am thoroughly impressed with the pacing and characterization. Overall, everything about this book is absolutely amazing, and I am completely hooked.
As tradition, this is the 5 star review of my own story.I had this story in mind from a while and I started to write it, I have already made a plan from this story and have already written some chapters of this story. Hope at least some of you will like it. Good reading.
An ok story about a guy who gains a vampire system in a tech based cultivator society. bunch of common tropes, and except for the MC and background characters everyone else is "quirky" in one way or another.
It's not a bad story, but I just don't understand why it is constantly near the top of the rankings as there are a lot of other stories greater than it.
