I seriously don't understand how Toika can write the same characters despite all the complaints about the characters and literally nothing else.
The story has potential, bit it's slowly losing the element that caught my heart. Characters are abusive and manipulative, making it hard to understand their mindset. The nsfw parts are good tho... but they're being tainted by "emotional dependence".

As Im reading im starting to notice there's ALOT of chapters out of order. Part 2 part 1 part 3 type out of order its confusing and makes no sense when your reading part1 of a chapter go to the next pnly to find its like part2 of a different chapter its makes no sense and the stpry looses tractio
wait wait i'm confused who is Han cangmin again? and why did she see in him Lin Yang? Could this be a background arc for Lin Yang? because up to now - chap 2617- we din't have much info on his character; so i was wondering if this is finally the moment when we get to know more about him and his relationship with Ye Qingtang ?
But yeaah, thank you for translating this guys❤️ it's been a while that i have been following this novel and it has been quite the long journey, still super intresting development, some very cliché moments but really worth it, so nice !!
And I feel like we are getting closer to knowing the "truth" about their relationship and his identity, and i'm so exciteeed and so readyyy

I really liked this except for:
A) I honestly think there should have been /some/ kind of romance. There is so many potential people for him to get involved with and he really doesn't with any of them.
B) The ending is too open ended for me. And there is still some stuff that I'm not sure got wrapped up. (annoyed you don't get Jessica's back story, among other things.)
Its otherwise great, there is a ton of things going on and if you can keep up with the explanations I think most of it is consistent and explained well.
