Hmm... How should I begin? Having read a fair share of world-hopping and quick-transmigration novels, it's rare that I genuinely enjoy every arc. Often, I find myself wanting to skip entire arcs due to boredom. However, this novel was different. I actually appreciated each arc for its unique qualities. That said, I must admit that some arcs were a bit over-the-top... *cough* the model arc *cough*.
Regarding the characters, I particularly liked the Female Lead (FL). In a way, she can be seen as a sociopath or at least someone with dissociative traits, which is exactly why I found her compelling. Her emotional disconnection resonated with me, though not in the sociopathic sense. Because she isn't driven by emotions, her actions are often rational, making her perfect for delivering those satisfying moments of confrontation. Yet, she learns to care for others and to love, even if her love isn't as profound as the Male Lead's (ML). I don't see this as a flaw, though.
, I appreciated how the skills she acquired in each world remained relevant in later arcs. This continuity acts as a red thread, tying each arc together to create a coherent and engaging story. The ending was also satisfying, diverging from the predictable conclusions of many other novels I've read. So, yes, I'm quite content with this one.
Honesty compels me to admit that I'm quite disappointed from the prologue to Chapter 1. The protagonist didn't experience reincarnation; instead, another individual took on the role, causing significant emotional distress for her. Unfortunately, that's more than enough reason for me to cease reading this right away.

This is a review of a typical xuanhuan novel that stands above the average in terms of storytelling. While I won't delve into the plot, which has been covered in other reviews, there are two significant drawbacks I'd like to address.
Firstly, the abundance of female protagonists is a drawback. The book introduces ten of them, which the author seems to have prioritized over creating depth. Unfortunately, this leads to a lack of proper development for all; it becomes challenging to keep track, as the characters' stories are introduced individually, making it difficult to remember their distinct identities. Generally, in such narratives, authors manage around four well-developed female characters. Some heroines here lack distinct personalities beyond their affection for the protagonist, which reduces reader engagement.
Secondly, the cliché of ascending to a "higher world" around chapter 200 is prevalent in xuanhuan novels and, alas, it occurs here. This plot twist often negates the first part of the story, which is typically the most engaging. Beloved characters are left behind, and the main character's power dynamics shift dramatically, diminishing the impact of their earlier achievements. It feels like a forced extension rather than a natural progression.
Despite these issues, the novel remains an enjoyable read within its genre. If you're a fan of xuanhuan stories, I would still recommend it, considering it's above average despite these flaws. It's worth noting that the length might be influenced by the pay-per-word model common in Chinese publishing, which sometimes results in longer narratives compared to their Korean or Japanese counterparts.
