Dan lead Leora into another room connected to the central core. It was a long walk. Even with accelerated walking speed, it took 25 minutes to reach the end of the core room.
"I made a deal with the owner of the void. It will spread slower for the rest of time but my body will slowly be taken. It will help us now and those in the future. This probably wouldn't be possible normally but I have something he wants."

"Great..." said Sparky as he let out a sigh, watching the dino run off in the distance. He then asked Scar whether they should both chase after it but Scar denied. After scouting around the area for any suspicious items, they left and went back towards the hub.

The last bird beast was the tallest however this was not obvious from the way it slouched. It was like it was imitating the style of a big strong man who is good at being a man however fails at being sensitive to those around them. The type who faces a crying child and wonders if giving a beer will help them. Out of the the three bird beasts, its voice did not match the cute exterior - it was deep, grave, and when it tries to hit the higher notes, it sounded like it was in pain.
"Everyone!" Kakashi had caught his breath. "We're retreating off the bridge. Double time it! Now!"
This is an incredible book can't wait for their love story to develop more!
