I am in absolute love, I just wish they could finally get their moment without being interrupted. I have to fill in the rest of the characters so ahshejsjajaganKdjdhdiwkamsjd
Im not sure why this gets such a high rating. Its perfectly fine to read, dont get me wrong, but I think a 5 is overboard. At least for the first 100 chapters. progression system is nice. fast paced but not lightning. powers are cool and while not entirely unique, are like a 4/5 which is great.Plenty of fighting and mc is very strong. Side characters are replaceable and have no function other than slightly useful damaging units.overarching plot to save the family is out of sight, out of mind. Conflict pops up but often have no emotional impact towards the main character. Definitely not bad overall though
Why not change the title into shock the rune novel became a beast tamer novel i mean after the 90+ ch or after the divine monument arc it literally became a beast tamer novel even the system changed if i remember the system only help the mc comprehend and use any runes but the f after 100+ ch when the the mc beast killed the enemy sparrow it gaved 100 exp whats that? I even remember some scene from other novel being coppied here like the classroom fight I have high hopes from the novel but they just destroyed it ??
sucks
Frankly, I adore this. The edge was, admittedly, a little too much to handle at first, but if you're a lover of dark humor & so on, you'll enjoy this.
I would not read this if you expect high-quality writing & high standards overall. First and foremost, I think everyone can agree this is pretty much a comedy and yes, Gary is a real G.
The author has, in my opinion, improved from their previous work (Hermes System) as this seems to be more fleshed out, unique with how the bizarre the characters, and so on.
I don't usually bother to read majority of things on Webnovel because they seem to be... highly similar to each other i.e. system novels & etc. This, however, made me glad I searched the power rankings, which led me to this gem.
A very good read if you want to laugh yourself off.

Interesting novel
This is a completely pointless esoteric novel. It talks about Taoism, Buddhism, Heavenly Scriptures and all sort of stuff. But it's completely aimless since the story doesn't go anywhere. The protagonist gains strength easily - his system rewards him for ever captive demon he kills. He doesn't ever mature as a person, but he sure does gain a lot of powers (invulnerable body, 100,000 years Taoist cultivation etc).
This author achieved a record. He made the most boring repetition vaguely interesting (all that happens in this story is description of the protagonist waking up, executing a demon, harvesting its organs, recording events in his journal/blook [now rinse, repeat forever]) - but so what? The heart of this story is pointless, there's no development in narrative, or the protagonist. It's a well-written tragedy. Shame since this novel clearly puts a lot of effort into world building.
One of the best Harem novels I've read yet, where the character doesn't mindlessly increase his harem. Perfect balance between romance and action. Highly recommend.
