The plot is nice more like a contemporary romance. The chapters are quite nicely written and the story flows at a correct pace. All the best for the upcoming chapters.
I never want to kill a fictional character but now??? Arghhhh I hate Edward!!!! And Calina is way too soft to him!!! What a roller coaster novel but I don't have the courage to open the \\"doppelganger\\" part. Too cruel.
I have kept up with series from the beginning. Each book is so different but always amazing in its own right. I am so surprised how each book lives in the same universe, keeps the same basics of the world, but is vastly different. love how this author can still surprise me with new twists.

The author is showing us that his world only had value because Jiang Mingyue was holding it together. And the breast cancer detail — "if she didn't clean her up now, would she wait until her old age to continue to get breast cancer?" — this ties her personal liberation to physical survival. She's not just leaving a bad marriage; she's literally saving her life. The recurring image of crying is also significant. So the book is incomplete. Rather wait for it to be completed before reading it. Updates are very slow, and author does not communicate, so you will not know hoe long or what is going on. It is a good book, but incomplete.

I can’t believe the hate he has for her.. and I can’t believe she is sticking around for the torture . Great storyline but chapter 26-31 are repeat . And few chapters prior are from another book . Hope you can fix that ! Hope she just leave him soon ..
