This trial novel is amazing, I'm not gonna lie when I read the synopsis I was doubtful but after reading it I don't regret it. The old man and his granddaughter are the mc. The novel is basically filled with face slapping. Although I usually don't like too much face slapping this novel's comedy just makes it perfect. Webnovel did a good job this week putting out so many books?

I like this story and its characters, the description of the world could use some work, but otherwise from that this story is pretty good in my opinion. Thumbs up to you author.

Haven't read it yet, but it seems like it'll be a short novel. It's already four volumes in at 40 chapters. It looks very interesting.
Take my 5 stars, take my 6 and 7 stars. This novel is the reason I came to webnovel, I read it on a friends account first, then I decided to create my own account to keep reading. I love this book and will continue giving it my power stones. Give it a try, if you don’t like it that’s fine, but don’t just brush it off.
Good book, premature ending though. Grammar is decent and consistent. The pacing is rather slow and some things are needlessly stretched out in terms of dialogue and descriptions but it could just be personal taste. The mc has a rather unique class in terms of other books that really made me enjoy the entire process of seeing him adapt. Which the author would've expanded more/made more use of the duel skill because it can make for some great action scenes but its possibly he had planned to before he dropped the book. Good book though and definitely worth the read.
This novel immediately pulls you in and makes you excited to learn more. The world and characters are well established and easy to follow along with. The story flows great and is a great mix of adventure and humor. I dont typically like 1st person POV stories, but it really works for this novel! Excited to see how it plays out!
