It was absolutely worth every penny! The slow burn pace is doubled, but the romance more than makes up for it. The author does an exceptional job developing the relationship between the main characters, and I loved the various storylines. There's hardly a dull moment, and even the secondary characters are well-developed and memorable.
My favorites among them are Live, Lusan, Enon, Nathan, and Kanna. Kiolle's character growth is particularly impressive. The chemistry between Yuder and Kishiar is extraordinary - I found myself screaming at their cuteness! Their interactions are filled with tenderness and love. Both characters deeply care for each other and complement each other beautifully. I cannot recommend this novel highly enough. Kishiar is a standout ML character - he's caring, attentive, patient, talented, strong, and handsome, making him a refreshing take on the typical ML stereotype.
Yuder, the MC, is incredible too – smart, rational, powerful, unforgiving, and a badass in his own right. Despite appearing cold, he has a softer, caring side when it comes to those close to him. His emotional journey adds depth to the story. The power couple dynamic between Yuder and Kishiar is simply captivating, leaving me longing for a similar love life!
The novel's popularity could use a boost, as some may dismiss it due to the "womanizer" label or A/B/O elements. But let me clarify: Kishiar is not a womanizer! While I can't comment on everyone's preferences, the author handles A/B/O dynamics skillfully, enhancing the narrative. The story goes beyond just romance, and when it does, it leaves a lasting impression.
There are passionate moments, but the slow burn approach is deliberate. If you're looking for a quick relationship development or instant smut, this might not be your cup of tea. For me, the novel is a gem, deserving a 10/10, but I understand it may not suit everyone's taste. Regardless, I believe it's worth giving a try, even if the genre or plot isn't your usual preference. My enthusiasm shines through in this review, and I hope it helps in your decision to start reading!
